So I'm talking with the Starbucks barista. How did this happen? My flirtation skills are almost zero. He was cute though. He started out with just saying my name. "Hey Monique. What can I get you Monique?" I was like ok... Cute dude why? Another day he wasn't ringing me up and the guy ringing me up was beginning to ask my name and he interjects and is like: that's Monique. It's Monique I know her! I asked him if I came too often he flatly said yes. I just pouted and went to wait for my drink and cookie. He handed me my cookie and I got my drink and left. I walked away and tore a piece of my cookie and it was the wrong cookie so I was like ??? This guy... Then I looked into my bag and there's 2 cookies! More recently I went on my day off with my friend. He wasn't even a ringer but he saw me and basically pushed the other guy off the register and was like don't worry about it. And I tried handing the card to the other guy but cute barista just kept repeating don't worry about it. For weeks I've been saying he's being nice. But everyone is like no one who is being nice just gives you free cookies and drinks almost daily... I've been giving him thank you sticky notes so I finally gave him a sticky with my number on it and that I owe him lunch. So now I'm going to lunch with the cute Starbucks barista. Also sorry I've been super busy! I got a second job and internships are making me super busy!

What’s getting on your nerves right now: That I’m jobless. I do have a unpaid internship interview tomorrow. Which is nice at least I’ll gain experience but i still need a paid job so this game of waiting for employers to call me back is annoying. And my heart can only take so much... is everyone else struggling? or is it just me who is so clueless to the world?
