I recently watched Constantine (I recommend it, btw ✧/ᐠ-ꞈ-ᐟ\) and the hairstyle of angel Gabriel is ridiculously similar to Makai Ouji’s Gabriel... Did Utako Yukihiro get inspired by Constantine? Or maybe it was Takadono-sensei's idea, while the first design was by Yukihiro-sensei? Because Gabriel had a different design originally (a few pages were removed from chapter 22 in the official volume 4) and the resemblance is a bit too much, lol.

Ok, random theory time - if Isaac inherited Mathers' name after this, doesn't that mean that what happened in Mathers' later life actually happened to Isaac?

Ignore the fact that the time doesn't add up, that's nothing new with Makai Ouji xD But to be fair, I doubt anyone helped Madoka Takadono to keep notes and avoid inconsistencies and with so many historical/mythological characters to work with, messing up here and there is to be expected.

The fan translation made it sound like Metatron hated pretending to be human, but in the official translation he insists he's not pretending to be human, he still considers himself to be human on the inside (also, the "pure angel" part was Metatron mocking Uriel, he wasn’t talking about himself).

Now I get why his weakness in the fanbook was "all the angels" and not just "Michael" (per say, in Leonard's case, his weakness was only "Baphomet", his arch enemy) - Metatron dislikes angels to the point of even refusing to identify as one.

The greatest feeling of satisfaction in my (sad, sad) life was to be able to immediately describe the symmetry point group of an obscure molecule in front of me, and have the professor spend a couple of minutes drawing out symmetry operations before admitting that I was right, and seeing the befuddled but amazed looks of my friends in the tutorial. Even the one dude who is undoubtedly very clever, but also seems to think he’s a bit above everyone else since he spends all of his free time reading about more and more advanced aspects of science, didn’t get the point group that fast and I was like BITCHES YES i mean i can’t explain how i knew the symmetry of the molecule BUT I KNEW IT

Hey there! I’ve decided to make a studyblr-only blog, one that chronicles my studies, and my struggles with mental illness, and how I do the best that I can in the face of, well, everything. Indeed, that would make sense - at first Uriel’s hair liked to change between black and dark purple and now it seems to be set on black-purple (with a very pretty colour fusion). So they could be using the same method here. I guess the idea is to make the picture more colorful and interesting.

It would be nice to ask the creators directly,but I don’t want to bother them with such a trivial question.

An MO description of octahedral metal co-ordination complexes. Depending on the type of ligand attached, the electronic behaviour of the complex will differ. Sigma-only donors agree with crystal field theory more or less completely. Pi donors close the frontier molecular orbitals gap while pi acceptors widen it. Group theory is invoked to generate the sets of ligand group orbitals with which the metal 3d, 4s, and 4p orbitals split.
