From Lexie: Real Housewives of Pembereley (part 3 of many)
A few initial things that I want to get out before I get all meta on the new narrative voice thingy:
Yes, I am really curious to see how they do the letter, too. I feel like he would email her an explanation and warn her to keep it private. Then it somehow gets leaked. At first I thought Lydia would be the perfect foil for this (she hacked Lizzie's account once before, she'd do it again and she LOVES telling secrets), but that doesn't make any sense, plot-wise. Another character with a history of (maybe) hacking into things and (possibly) deleting voicemails and the like is Caroline, but again, not a huge incentive. Having Fitz tell Lizzie anything more than "BAD NEWS BEARS, MAN" on camera wouldn't really make sense (but, maybe, and basically I just want more Fitz in my life always). Mary? No, Mary knows privacy is key to everything.
Charlotte could find it out and post it somewhere, but that would feel a little bit like a huge betrayal and taking her role as documentarian way too far. Also, she's not really in that role any more ("The TIME, Mr. Collins!!").
OR it could stay hush-hush, just like how we don't quite know what LBD!Wickham's story is in the first place.
So, yeah. Gigi. That's where my ten bucks is going here. And, yeah, I'm a political hack, but I was all like, "YYYyyyyyep, rich kids. Darcy is probably voting for Romney." BUT! I like your thoughts better. I want Darcy to travel in a circle of wealthy socialites and Hollywood peeps who have pet causes and throw lavish benefits. Even though those folks genuinely have a heart, one is still expected to act a certain way on those occasions. And one certainly wouldn't want one's date (or, you know, Bing's date) acting anything like Mrs. Bennet. Or Lydia. Or, honestly, Lizzie.
OH AND ALSO?? I want Caroline's spinoff to totally be the Real Housewives of Pembereley.
