              Three.. Two... One.. She counted down in her head before she flapped her little wings as hard as she could and leaping from her spot to properly pounce upon her father. Those feathered appendages managing to keep her in the air for a few seconds longer so she could wrap her little limbs around him and give him that bright sharp toothed smile. “Joyeux anniversaire papa!” Large round eyes were alight with joy as she nuzzled him gleefully and seemed to flail a bit after a moment or two. “I don’t know much about birthdays so I asked Pare about it and he told me I had to think of it all on my own so it meant more! So I did something!” Wings wiggled with her apparent giddiness before she pulled a little thin box from her coat pocket and held it up to his line of sight. Cora had put a lot of thought into what she should give him for his birthday since without him, she was sure neither herself nor her pare would be half as happy.

So she’d wanted to show that she wanted him to be safe and always know what was at home so he would come back and leave knowing he was cared for just as she knew she was. She’d taken two of her longest feathers from her wings and wove them together with strong leather, with the help of Alphie who had small hands like herself and could show her how to tie it properly, before she’d put the feathers through a leather band so they’d be kept safe but still be seen. It was something of an arm bracer, something to show him she would always be right here and that she was really proud of him always. Bright, sharp toothed, grin; she wrapped him up in her little arms and hugged him tightly but carefully. “I’m happy you’re here papa.”

I just want y'all to know that you're scientifically magical. Atoms don't touch each other in a sense of physically connecting at room temperature so you're actually microscopically floating in near everything you do. You're floating in your chair, when you walk and that cup in your hand is floating too. You're magic.

Can we talk about the fact that S/hiro’s extremely dangerous? I mean, I get it. He’s a sweet boy who loves ppl and wants to save everyone but can we acknowledge that he’s volatile, angry, lethal and doesn’t hesitate to deliver a killing blow? Like this man is not all sunshine and rainbows. He may have the patience of a saint but lbr he’s not without blood on his hands and he knows it which is why he seems to keen on teaching the others to read into things and analyze, not just strike first. He tries so hard to conceal it but c’mon. One does not just waltz into being a prisoner of war, forced to fight in a blood bath arena, into the war itself and a thousand other things without accumulating some kind of rage and instinctive reaction to kill a threat. 

This is honestly just me at 3 in the morning waking up in intervals due to insomnia but y’all. He’s a beefy space dad who looks like a cinnamon roll when he’s happy and in turn looks like he can kill you when he’s angry. I’d give a thousand other points but ‘cause some of them are from s7 and I have a couple of v.ld followers who haven’t had time to watch it yet I won’t.
