Does anyone else think Moby the robot from BrainPop kind of looks similar to Bender from Futurama or is it just me? I've only seen some commercials but it finally hit me that it was the Math Robot Moby that Bender reminded me of.

A midnight awakening

Tim slided out of bed to get a glass of water. As he walked down the corridor to the kitchen, he heard a knock on his window. Tim froze. Was he about to get murderd? He was about to open his knife drawer when he heard a familiar beep. Relief washed over him as he realized that it was a familiar sound. It was moby.

He went to open the window and stopped. Moby looked beautiful in this light. The moon shining off his polished metal exterior. Another beep snapped tim out of his thoughts and he opened the window and let moby in.

“Beep beep” moby slurred

“Yeah no problem man” tim said sweat running down his back.

“Beeep beeeeep” moby said slurring his beeps. Tim paused.. was moby drunk? The work at BrainPop had been rough recently these stupid kids asking them questions instead of googling them like normal people. Moby had really been feeling it recently. Tim didnt expect this though.

“Moby… are you doing ok?” Tim asked hesitantly. Moby just staired back his metal eyes looking into his. Tim glanced down at his metal lips. No, i cant be thinking about that now moby needs me.

Tim helped moby into his bed. BrainPop didnt pay well so he only had his bedroom and a kitchen.

Guess im sleeping on the floor tim though to himself as he tucked moby in snug as a bug in a rug. He didnt even mind the fact that he would have to wash the moter oil out of his sheets the next day. Tim kissed moby the the forehead and left him to sleep. After closing the door he slid down the wall. Had he really just done that? His best friend— and crush was in his house in his bed sleeping and he kissed him on the forehead. Tims face was red with the thought. He curled up on the floor and heard mobys robotic breaths. Maybe sleeping like this wouldnt be so far.
