that post wasn't meant to override what we already wrote in our pinned, it was more of a vibe descriptor.

basic collectibles like rings and portal gears aren't eligible because their effects on the plot are negligible, nor are they scarce or unique. should probably add that as a rule.

[ Seems like the Star is a popular a choice, so I’m just gonna combine these three asks, if that’s okay with everyone. I know that means you won’t get notified when this post goes up but... I hope you guys see it on your dash? Anyway... ]

VII. The Chariot — Describe one of your muses coping mechanisms. 

[ He has a tendency to throw himself into his work, especially when he’s trying to avoid talking about his feelings or dealing with the aftermath of an unpleasant situation.

In the weeks following his release from Cadmus captivity, he did his darnedest to secure a spot on the active roster, under the pretense of wanting to “make up for lost time.” He didn’t get said spot, naturally - his injuries were to severe - but that didn’t stop him from doing waaay too much research while he was supposed to be recuperating. 

Better to be busy than to be hurt, I guess. ]

XII. The Hanged Man — Describe a time where your muse felt persecuted. 

[ Q feels persecuted most of the time, considering that his theories are regularly criticized when they aren’t outright dismissed. The fact that he often turns out to be right only makes matters worse. 

It’s hard to narrow down any one time where he felt this way, but I suspect he felt it a lot more strongly when he first joined the League. Since then, he’s more or less come to accept the fact that people think he’s nuts, but it wasn’t quite so easy in the early days. ]

XVII. The Star — Describe the type of art that your muse is drawn towards.

[ Three words: Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks. 

Q isn’t exactly what you might call a patron of the arts. He just likes that particular painting. I mean, smooth lines, bold colours, a dimly lit diner that wouldn’t be out of place in a noir film... what more could a detective ask for?

He’d probably like some of J. C. Leyendecker’s work, if not for the fact that Leyendecker tended to illustrate advertisements and, as we all know, ads contain evil subliminal messages and therefore cannot be trusted. ]

Ok cool! I gotta know what do you think of Free? Also how far are you in the manga now?

Oh wow I let this sit in here for a hot minute didn't I?

In any case, I think Free is pretty cool! Like, an immortal werewolf guy? Helllll yeah! He has a lot of cool powers too! He's not my favorite villain character by any means, but I do enjoy him!

As for how far I am in the manga, due to some unfortunate circumstances in my life, I stopped reading it for awhile to focus on stuff, so I'm not as far as I'd like to be! But the Death Scythes (Marie, Azusa, and Justin) just came in! I believe this is close to where things begin to differ from the anime? At least that's what it seems like!
