There’s a difference. Although one shining achievement of his (that makes him famous at least in the little town he’s currently settled in) is that he’s held a job at a local Chuck E Cheese for the past three months and hasn’t been fired yet.What They Would Get Arrested For: What wouldn’t he get arrested for is the better question. Possession of illegal substances, public indecency, getting into fights, public drunkenness, attempting to pick up a prostitute, etc etc. OC You Ship Them With: Anyone who consents to this poor bastard.OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Hm… any vampire hunters, anyone who isn’t a fan of his personality in general, maybe he just pisses someone off at the wrong time. It’s a mystery.Favorite Movie/Book Genre: He was always a fan of the myths and rhymes/poetry of children’s books. But adventure is good too, same with those really hot and heavy romance novels.Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: “And they all lived happily ever after, the end.” What bullshite.Talents and/or Powers: He’s a vampire, so he has all sorts of fun stuff with that. He’s also very talented at pissing people off and drinking his weight in booze. Besides that, he has the talent of putting children at ease: helping them be comfortable in their own skin while still having fun and knowing their limits. Even if he’s a foul-mouthed, selfish, lazy little shitehead: he doesn’t want any harm to befall a kid, nor does he want any kid to be unhappy. He’s amusingly far more “socially appropriate” around children than adults, and will even consciously adjust his behavior and language so as not to upset any “young ears.”Why Someone Might Love Them: He has a sense of humor and doesn’t really care how other people live their lives, that would be hypocritical of him, after all. He’s laid back and relaxed, and capable of being serious if the need calls for it. When he does care for others, he cares deeply, and little stops him from doing all he can for them. He’s also an adorable goober.Why Someone Might Hate Them: He doesn’t sugarcoat things, speaks his mind, enjoys riling people up and getting into fights, can be a real dickhead at times and he’s a vampire. Plenty of reasons, really.How They Change: Although its a slow process, Asher does let himself get a little more attached to folk than he initially wants too. Mostly, it’s to protect himself: he’s going to outlive them (probably) and watching people he cares about die is the worst thing in the world.Why You Love Them:He’s a complicated, but not complicated dude. One minute he’s teasing the shit outta someone he knows just to watch them squirm and the next he’s toe-to-toe with someone who tries to do the same to that person. He’s unpredictably predictable and just tries to be himself and have as much fun as he can while he can. It’s really refreshing to write for a character that doesn’t try to be careful or please everyone or give two shits what a stranger thinks of him. Plus his off-the-wall, terrible, rude, and/or private/intimate comments amuse me a lot.
