your f/o’s take your love languages into account my source is that they came to me in a dream!!

for example, if your love language is physical touch, they will be so affectionate with you!! (even if they’re reserved/not very touchy) they’ll give you hugs from behind, have their hand on your thigh when you sit, and kiss you in public so that everyone knows you are theirs!! going to sleep always ends up with snuggles <3

quality time likers— your f/o has got you covered!! they are already planning fun places for you guys to go and things for you to see. they’ll always make sure that they set aside time for you, and would never cancel any plans. sometimes you guys will go to the most fun amusement park ever and sometimes you’ll spend a cozy night together watching movies. they adore it either way <3

if you need words of affirmation, your f/o knows just how to show you love! they’ll write you love letters, their handwriting so utterly them while they confess their love for you. don’t be afraid to ask for reassurance, either! they will wash away any bit of worry you have. also, expect compliments— whether that be in person, a message, or written onto a sticky note, taped onto the bathroom mirror <3

acts of service is absolutely something your f/o will do for you. they understand that some days, it’s nice to come home to the dishes washed, and the floor sweeped. if you need help with any of your chores, they’ll be more than happy to lighten your load! it can be endearing to make inside jokes while you two fold the laundry, or reminisce about a sweet memory while they cook dinner. they never want you to feel bad when they help you, because you help them just as much <3

if your love language is giving gifts, your f/o definitely will take note of it! (they spoil you, shhh). they notice the item you lingered on just a bit too long in the store. they spend time picking out a gift that feels just right for you. and expect to come home to little trinkets they found/flowers they picked outside, because— “it reminded me of you!” <3

A message from Mod Autumn:

Seeing as sign ups open soon, it is time for me to say goodbye to this event. This has been a long time coming, and it was not an easy decision. However, I have been pretty absent from this event, this fandom, and really, Tumblr in general.

You all deserve a mod who is all in and actively working to make this event special. Mod Kal has been doing an amazing job taking over where I have honestly been lacking, and I know that they will continue to do so.

I am going to miss being a part of this event, but if I am being totally honest with you all, I haven't been a very big part of it the past couple of years anyway. I've had a lot going on and have drifted away from the fandom, so it is time for me to officially step away.

Thank you all for making this event so amazing. I can't wait to see what you all create in the future <3

Hi!! You can ignore this if you want, it's OK.:) I was just looking for blogs on tumblr that help / advise LGBT people. (don't you know any please?) and I noticed your profile. Can i tell you something? I am desperate :(i'm a girl. I thought I was straight. I've always liked boys. But .. sometimes I ... like actresses. I've always said myself that this doesn't mean I'm bi, that's normal. I just think they're pretty. But .. it has happened to me a few times that .. well, for example, I have one classmate (she is 100% straight) and .. I don't know if I like her, probably yes? I could imagine kissing her, maybe others things, but sex itself probably not? I'm confused. I also tried to do orientation tests and it turned out that I was straight. But it is written somewhere that when somebody takes tests for orientation, he/she is probably not straight. I know I should know this by myself, whether I'm straight or not, .. I'm really confused. please would you help me ?? thank you very much. have a nice day and i hope i don't bother you!

I wanna start off by saying that any label you end up choosing to use for yourself is ok, it's also ok if you find that it's not the right label for yourself because for a lot of people (myself included) it's been a long journey to find label(s) I'm comfortable with and feel they describe me.

The most important thing isn't the label itself but how you feel and what makes you comfortable, labels give some people comfort but it doesn't mean everyone uses labels for themselves. There isn't a right answer I can give you because it's something you're gonna have to find out for yourself and the first step to discovering what works for you is going through your thoughts with a peer, listening to how other people feel will be of much more help than reading one version that only works for some. I really hope you find a safe space to explore those thoughts and feelings and I wish you the best of luck!
