Shinomiya had good reason to be nervous- not only was he meeting up with his fellow Tostuki Alumni, but he was introducing his girlfriend to said Totsuki Alumni. And.. to say that his girlfriend was far from what people expected his girlfriend would be was an understatement. She was loud, she was childish, she was innocent.. Essentially, she was everything Shinomiya usually would’ve found annoying.
But there was something about her that Shinomiya liked- a spark, a determination to help others- a caring streak. He admired her, and he wanted to be more like her. He couldn’t be more lucky to have such a wonderful woman in his life.
“I’m just.. nervous.” He admitted, sighing and glancing out the window, the city lights brightening the streets outside- the empty streets.
“Don’t be! You grew up with them! Why would you be nervous about seeing your friends?” She replied, humming a soft tune as she finished dishing the starter course for the dinner that evening.
“It’s not that I’m worried about...” He grumbled, before he perked up at the sound of the door opening, coughing and standing up straight.
“Er— Hello, everyone. It’s nice to see you all again. Thank you for coming,” he introduced, stepping out of the kitchen to greet the others.
“This is—“
“Heya! I’m Koji’s girlfriend! It’s nice to meet you all!” She popped out of the kitchen, bowing respectfully towards the small group of people she assumed to be an older generation of the elite ten.
