Ill start with a few of mine:

26-year-old man gets thrown into the highest possible leadership position there is after a life of dropping out of college and working at Walmart; chaos ensues

Man is unequivocally depressed from loss of a partner and their two sort-of-kids, made a bit better by his harem line of other people who he loves dearly, though its still not enough to save him

Kid with a learning disability really likes tigers and friendship, but has a track record of being brought down to the verge of death over unfortunate circumstances and people who want his older brother dead
