Cancelled
The mods have all gotten extremely busy with work/school and weren’t able to keep up with the demands that were set for the Drawlloween Challenge. The original announcement post has been made private. For more information, please check here.
We’re going to post the drawings that we have finished, but we will not be continuing with the challenge. Despite our busy schedules, we are still making an effort to post when possible. We thank everyone for their patience.

(Drug mention) all of the wlw at my school are butch and they're all cool and they all smoke a lot of weed which are all great things to be/to do so I don't want to sound like I'm bringing anyone down. but I'm only recently out, femme, and a nerd for lack of a better word (? i hate that word but I don't smoke weed or party, I'm on an academic team and pretty focused on school) and for whatever reason I feel like I don't belong because of this. I probably couldn't date any girls at my school(1/2)
(2/2) because I'm not really as cool as they are and I'm just so focused on school and stuff. plus most people think I'm straight because I don't fit the regular stereotype of wlw AND i can't talk to girls I like. I just feel like I'll never be able to date a girl. I don't know, is this a common problem? How can I make myself be attractive? sorry for bad English
I think this is a pretty common problem among wlw, but don’t feel like you have to change yourself to be considered attractive to other girls at your school. Anyone who likes you should like you for who you truly are, and someone will come along, I promise. It might seem a little nerve wracking, but you could always try to talk to the other wlw at your school. If you have a GSA/any type of LGBTQ+ club, you could find other girls like you there that you might not have even known were sapphic. Even if you don’t date any girls at your school, remember school isn’t your only option. You could meet girls outside of school too. :)
I really want to go to my local pride this weekend but I'm scared.
Going to pride at first can be scary! I definitely recommend you go though, I don’t think you’d regret it. You’ll meet so many people like you and probably have an amazing time. If you really don’t feel comfortable, then maybe hold off and try again next year. If you do decide to go, then have fun! There’s nothing else like it.
Happy birthday to our dear mod and good friend Shannon. Even though its kind of late lol. This picture was done by me and Briana. She did the sketch and I colored it.

I'm bi, and I just came out to most of my friends. I thought it would make me feel better about my sexuality, but instead I feel trapped. Now everybody knows something I dislike about my self. I wish I were straight, just so I wouldn't be that one, the bi girl at my school. I'm not ready to be part of a community, or to date anybody. I barely even get crushes. Also, my bi friend now wants to talk about girls all the time and I don't really want to. Any advice?
well first of all, I’m sad that being bi is something you dislike about yourself. unfortunately it can take a while for some people to accept and become comfortable with their sexuality. you will though! you don’t really have to be a part of the community if you’re not ready yet, and you definitely don’t have to date anyone if you’re not ready. those are all things you will do on your own time. don’t let anyone pressure into having to do anything you don’t want to. as for your friend, just let them know you’re not really comfortable with talking so much about girls at the moment, i’m sure they’ll understand. don’t worry, i know things are rough now, but in time you’ll become comfortable with your sexuality and be way happier with all you are.
am I still part of the community if I'm bi and dating a guy?
yes! absolutely. you are part of the community no matter who you’re dating. your relationships don’t define your sexuality, if you’re bi you’re bi!
Any advice for a girl thinking she might be faking being sapphic after 2 years?? I don't know what to do
Well lots of wlw deal with questioning whether or not they really like girls, and it sucks. Lots of the time it’s just comp het. I feel like I could just be “fake being” bisexual because I want attention or something even though I know that I’m not. Chances are if you even have to question whether or not you’re sapphic, you are sapphic. There is a lot of doubt that can creep up on you when you realize that you’re not straight, but that’s normal and everyone deals with it. Don’t worry much about it. And if you realize that you actually aren’t sapphic, that’s fine too. But remember you don’t have to prove your sexuality to anyone, not even yourself. You are valid. Good luck!
