Hi! I'm not a system, nor am I kin of anything in particular, but I'm trying to understand more about systems (and kin!) so that I can understand these lovely people! I know that systems have DID and they're multiple people in one body - correct me if I'm wrong - but I'm afraid the "otherlink" thing has me a touch confused! Is an "c-link" sort of... another person in the system, but imaginary? I hope I don't sound mean or anything of the sort! I just want to be informed <3

I’ll be happy to answer this! I hope it’s okay to publish it publicly, I want to post it in case others have the same question! 

Systems are just multiple people in one body, sometimes DID is involved sometimes it’s not 

Otherlinks and copinglinks aren’t a system thing! Though we’re a system ourselves and it definitely helps us in that, there are plenty of singlets who are ‘linkers! 

It’s just an identity that you voluntarily choose, like if you yourself decided tomorrow you want to identify as a cat, then you would be an otherlink.
