Whenever I get a submission, it goes into one of three categories:

Shows I've seen and therefore I either have screenshots of that character or will not be spoiled if I go get screenshots of that character (and depending on the character, might know exactly what episode to pull up to get a really good one)

Shows I haven't seen, and so I need to put them to the judges to help me get screenshots in order to make sure I get the correct character and good screenshots. If none of the judges are familiar with the character, then I can duck duck go them, but I prefer to avoid that just because I risk not getting the right character

The very small third category of "I am in the middle of this show and I can get a good screenshot as I go"

Would this blog be a lot easier for me to run if I just had one or two graphic templates and used the profile photos from the wiki and the same font every time, so that I could make a lot at once and load the queue for a few days at a time? Absolutely. Statistically, is it safe to assume that some of my graphics just don't look very good to the audience eye? They don't even all look good to me so like yeah lmao. Am I going to do that in order to make life easier for myself and my poor back? Absolutely not

Submissions have slowed to a stop so I need to make a new advertisement post if I'm going to have enough to get me through the month without adding a bunch of my own submissions 🤔

Just as a heads up we're not having the usual submission posts today! I've decided Sunday is for special headcanon posts and also we're gonna have a weekly wrapup (weekly wrapup weekly wrapup~ 🎶) instead

I've been choosing who goes in the queue each day based on a variety of factors and some behind the scenes math that I don't feel like going into, but now that I'm getting regular submissions without having to pad from the secret lists I need to go through them one by one and make sure the earliest submissions get added soon. I don't want anything getting lost in the shuffle just because I was enjoying my whimsical testosterone math too much

Since today's posts will feature the first time we're having multiple submissions for a character, I thought I'd break down my plan for how to do multiple submissions. Doing a numbered list but in my head it functions more like a flow chart

If a character gets multiple submissions before I run them, all of the compatible submissions will go on one post

Compatibility is just a fancy way of saying do I title the post trans man or transmasc, it's not really complicated

If the submissions aren't compatible, then I'll post one set and leave the other set for another day.

Or I might get cheeky and post both sets on the same day, but that's really a spur of the moment decision I might potentially make

I want to make the blog fun for me to run so being cheeky is always on the table

If I get more submissions for a character after they're run, they'll most likely be run again on another day, so feel free to submit headcanons for characters that have already been run

Depending on submission numbers I might leave them a hot minute before I put them back up though

But submissions aren't just about "someone headcanons this character as transmasc/a trans man", it's also a way to share and celebrate the specific ways that people headcanon those characters

One person's headcanon doesn't necessarily speak for someone else's so don't think you have to resign yourself to "well this person already got their headcanon run >_>"

If I've run agender trans man Reika and in your heart Reika is a butch-trans cusper, then by all means submit butch-trans cusp Reika and it'll go in the queue with the rest

At the end of the day, it's more trans manhood and transmasculinity being celebrated in the fandom, and that's always a good thing ^-^
