//the feeling you get when you finally find the perfect date for your character only to realize that it's coming up very soon and will need to run birthday art and letters very soon with little time
Dear blog...
Finally came out as asexual to my Dad, and I was actually really scared about it. He's a really open-minded person. But when new concepts come up he often has difficulty understanding them. I was expecting a ton of questions, accusations about "people in my ear" and stuff along those lines. Instead, he just nodded, smiled at me and said; "I'm going to love you no matter how you live your life." And I know it's weird to say, but it almost seems... TOO supportive for him. I dunno, am I just worrying over nothing? Two of my brothers and my sister think so. Haven't told the last two brothers... Or my friends... Probably won't either.
On the subject of "concrits"
Constructive criticism should be just as the phrase states: It is a critique that is meant to help the RPer/mun, in a polite and helpfully suggestive way.
If any of you, my lovelies, get anything that does not fit this simple, easy to understand criteria, just delete. It is obvious someone who has not taken the time to piece together a thoughtful ask and/or just plain ol' hatemail.
So...
"Doesn't sound like Concrit? Just Delete!"
Inactivity and "post and runs"
I have been getting some muns asking me about other muns who have been absent for a long while without a hiatus notice.
The "10 day" rule is becoming more frequent with the other problem of "character squatting" or "post and run," and therefore a change is in order.
The inactivity warning will now be issued after 7 days, with 3 days to answer/post. There are muns who are left high and dry waiting for a response and have no idea what happened to their partner because there is no hiatus notice. I realize seven days may not seem much, but if you know you will be absent, just post a hiatus-you don't even need to tell me, just post it on your blog and it's all good. If you have been issued a first warning and you go another 7 days without a hiatus notice again, you will be automatically dropped.
That said, I hope everyone has a wonderful "Little Friday" and enjoy your weekend.
Post and Runs
I hate having to make new rules as we go along because some find new ways to try to get around the existing ones.
This is the existing rule:
You must remain active so that means no “post-and-runs.” This is when a person has been inactive right before 10 days and makes a post and disappears again for even more days.
I have to define this in a more concrete fashion. Right.
If you received a warning, or you wait until right before the 10 days, and then disappear, say, after you post one picture-this is not actually roleplaying, you're just posting one picture to save your spot.
If I see people doing this, especially after I sent them a warning, they have 5 days AFTER their one little post (which is a usually a picture) to be active again. If you have already received a warning, you will be dropped, no questions. If not, you will receive your first and only warning. (Because let's face it, 5 days PLUS the 10 or so you already missed makes over two weeks without a hiatus.)
I want everyone to be happy and if you are just posting a picture and running off to save your spot, well, that just is not roleplaying and you are better off dropping that character.
We have been doing quite well until this point without my having to go into little details, however, as the group grows so does the potential for things like this.
Thank you for your awesome RPing, you are wonderful and thoroughly entertaining! Have a wonderful Freaky Friday!
Keep the drama in your RPs and out of your lives!

To our newest member, Pepto, I swear it is not this crazy! It's part of a weird cycle of RPing.
It's a mystery of the world, nay, the universe!
Rule changes and other news
A change in the rules:
There is a 10 day inactivity limit, that is, if you did not submit a hiatus notice. After 10 days, you’ll be given a warning. If nothing is done in 5 more days, you will be sent a dismissal email and be removed from the RP master list.
I needed to change this because I find it is being abused, 10 days and 10 more days is nearly a month-which is simply too long. All you have to do is send me a hiatus notice-I can be reached in several ways-thru the ask at this RP blog, ask/fanmail through my Netherlands account, by email ([email protected] ) and through MSN Messenger (same email).
Now, I know I do not have this in the rules, however, if I have needed to send an inactivity notice before, the second time, I am not so lenient. If I see you have become absent yet again, after 10 days, your character will simply be dropped as you will be notified via email.
This RP ring doesn't expect everyone to be here everyday, that is unrealistic and ridiculous. We all have lives! However, if you just disappear for 10 days, (and then perhaps 5 more) you leave other RPers hanging. It's annoying and frustrating to those who are actually trying to enjoy themselves with a hopefully good RP.
There is nothing here that cannot be solved with a simple "Hey, I'm on hiatus!"
Post it on your blog and let me know. It's that insanely simple.
Thanks and have a wonderful Friday and a good weekend!
May you have crazy drama in the RPs and out of your lives!
