a little rant

jesus people the press release hasn’t been out for a day and the fandom blows up with people on both sides screaming.

because you have some people screaming “OMG I HATE CREEK TWEEK IS BEING ABUSIVE TO CRAIG I HOPE THEY BREAK UP”

and then the other side’s like

“AWWW TWEEK IS A CLINGY BOYFRIEND CRAIG SHUT UP AND LIVE WITH IT.”

couples have their ups and downs and craig and tweek have been through it before. people need to have their own personal space and lives outside of just their relationship, and that goes for both platonic and romantic. otherwise, it just gets unhealthy real quick. also craig is ten he can’t devote 24/7 of his life to tweek and vice versa. stop holding them up to adult standards thanks.

just like craig helped tweek overcome his anxiety in put it down, i think this episode will be another lesson on how to deal with relationship issues. it doesn’t mean they’re gonna break up, it’s called conflict, and conflicts can be overcome when two people talk it out and make steps to improve themselves for their own good and for the good of their relationship.
