Nossa central já ta quase pronta e a gente só ta passando um paninho na sala e tirando o pó das prateleiras pra abrir as portas do Instituto Pyxis. E se você ta tão ansioso quanto eu, fica de olho nas datas:

22/07 às 18:00 - A central do tumblr e do twitter é liberada.

23/07 às 12:00 - Liberamos as reservas e a ficha de cadastro.

26/07 - A primeira aceitação e abertura para interações ooc.

27/07 -  Abertura das interações ic.

E trago ainda mais informações:

Nossas reservas terão duração de apenas um dia útil então corram pra mandar a ficha.

Não teremos dias fixos de aceitação, terá aceitação sempre que tiver ficha no appcount.

Pra ser aceito no dia, deve mandar a ficha até às 18:00. Fichas mandadas após esse horário serão aceitas no dia seguinte.

As contas pra jogar na Pyxis não precisam estar limpas de seguidores, apenas precisam estar zeradas de tweets e não seguindo ninguém.

My coping mechanism (not the best title but bear with me)

Let’s imagine that after Moving On, Virgil tried everything to protect Patton from hateful comments. And it ended up getting to the point where he had to keep him from participating in videos.

Please hear me out, it’ll make sense.

Do keep in mind that this is not an anti-Logan and Roman theory, though it may come off a bit like it is, but... it really isn’t. I’m sorry if you think it does.

So... I got really angry after Crofters: The Musical came out. Because it’s a third video where Patton is pushed aside, presented as a cameo character, and... honestly, I’ve had enough.

(Obviously it was fueled by the angst here on tumblr, the initial anger wasn’t that bad, but just listen...)

So... I tend to go... really extreme when I’m angry. So I had to think of a way to get okay with it.

Cue this particular thought.

Moving On doesn’t really... solve Patton’s issues. It helps Thomas deal with nostalgia, but that’s... it. I watched both parts so many times and... Patton’s problem doesn’t get solved. It just gets acknowledged. And that’s only part of the solution, not the whole solution.

But that’s when everyone gives up and they just call it a day.

But... Virgil knows it’s not the solution. I mean... it’s Virgil. Anxiety is a form of irrational fear, and like in Taking On Anxiety, where it’s said that you can’t just outright defeat anxiety but you can take it down a peg.

This is exactly what they - Logan and Roman - have done to Patton in Moving On. Kinda.

So Virgil is only doing his job. He’s trying to protect Patton. He can’t keep him out of the Christmas video because it’s the Christmas video, it’s Patton and Roman’s thing, but... after Can Lying Be Good, things aren’t really that great. So he has to make a decision.

He keeps Patton out of videos to protect him. Because Roman and Logan showed that they prefer the Patton that doesn’t behave like himself. They prefer Deceit.

So this is what helped me cope. The idea that Virgil is doing everything he can to keep Patton away until the trouble goes away. Until Patton can finally make his voice heard and solve his issues without Roman or Logan calling them pointless, or any other thing.

And... this is it. If any of you needs it, this theory is here. Virgil is helping his dad. He’s being a good kiddo.

Okay so.

**** I’m going to go on a rant here so if y’all need a tldr, it’ll be at the bottom and in red. You can skip the rant if you need to.

SO. I loved the video. There was no way I was not going to love the video. But still... I’m irked (when am I not amirite).

In my opinion, Patton still didn’t get the credit he deserves. And I’ll explain.

As I keep saying, PATTON IS LITERALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT SIDE FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HES THE REASON WE EVEN HAVE SANDERS SIDES.

Yeah, that’s a bit biased. But it’s true (well, kinda). Roman may be the creative one but Patton had as many good ideas as Roman - the series being one, the puppets being another. And I’ll bet you a lot that when Patton suggested the idea for Sanders Sides, Roman reacted much the same like he did for the puppet idea.

I said on my personal blog that Logan doesn’t even credit Patton. That’s because I’m lacking the words to say what I mean by that. So I’ll try to explain - by holding back from calling Patton a genius, in my opinion at least, it’s like Logan is trying to prove himself to be the better Side. In expense of Patton. On whom he relied in many videos before.

Again, this is my opinion, and even then it’s not exact because I can’t do words. Please don’t read me for it, I’m trying my best here.

And the most annoying thing for me was when Roman and Logan both said that they’re the most important side. To which I say... no.

No, they’re not. We all know that, we all know they’re egotistical and can’t keep their mouths shut, but... they’re just not.

Patton first came up with the initial idea, and I’ll bet you Logan and Roman reacted just the same as they did for the puppet idea. But it worked. They’ve been able to sort through their issues thanks to an idea made by the heart. Makes sense, right? All those personal issues being solved with the help of the heart.

And then they totally forgot about it.

So what if... what if they forget this too? They forget that Patton helped. They forget that he went all this way just to help them solve their problems.

Please. Logan, Roman, listen to Patton. This video proves just why you have to listen to him. He’s an important part of the creative process too. Please make him feel heard. And don’t completely dismiss his ideas at first - even weird ideas can be fantastic.

Tl;dr - Roman and Logan continue to annoy the heck out of me and should probably let Patton take the lead more often than they do, because it can lead to great things.

Just a quick PSA

No matter what others think, Logan and Roman have, in fact, had the most screen time. Virgil is right behind them with a two episode difference, and Patton is far, far behind.

So this is a PSA-

Patton is NOT here for the others’ angst.

Patton, too, has issues that, as of recent videos, REMAIN UNSOLVED.

There may or may not be a mild case of favoritism involved in the series. You can read me for this statement, but it’s true. Thomas and Joan don’t really seem to care about his character development lately, see my rants about Moving On and comparing it to Dealing With Anxiety, and instead are just treating him as the series’ “therapist”.

Patton is a wonderful character with immense depths that, sadly, the writers seem to ignore in favor of their personal favorites.

And in short, Patton is an extremely important character. Never forget that. Because it seems like the production crew have (and now that Talyn is no longer in the production crew, I guess it would get even worse).
