Nightmare isn’t one for pet names, but the moment Cross used one on him, he’d use them all the time.

THIS IS SO CUTE And hurts so much too. I think that maybe he used to say some pet names when he was Uncorrupted -to Dream, soft things because he cared a lot for his brother AND wanted to distract him about all the things he was suffering-

So maybe it's something he eventually forgot, he no longer had somebody to call by a pet name.

The very first time Cross said something like that to Nightmare, he literally froze in his place, thinking about it, remembering things. And then, he liked it again, but probably won't call Cross with a pet name if somebody is watching them.

Uh- question, what is your opinion on Top!Cross?

OKEYYYY, thinking about this. I actually see them as switches, but I really like the idea of Top!Cross. Like, Nightmare has a lot of things going on in his head, the negativity and everything. When he was Uncorrupted!Nightmare, he was treated really poor, so Corrupted is actually really defensive, he has to have control of everything. BUUUUT, when Cross takes the role of top (being in private, u know what Kind of private, or in any other way), he takes the responsability off of Nightmare. He takes care of him and Nightmare can learn to enjoy that, can learn to be treated better. --Mod Error

Ok, so, I saw a headcanon here that Nightmare and Cross know more then one language and all I can think is them teaching their kids those languages too. So, like,

The answer is because he was half asleep when he suggested it. Night had a nightmare and thought of going to Cross's room so he could lie on the edge of others bed and just fall asleep in his company,but before he could do that he accidentally woke Cross up. When Cross asked him what he was doing in his room,he told the other he had a nightmare, and Cross, who couldn't think straight yet, offered him a hug. And by the time Cross processed what he's done Nightmare was already asleep by his side.

This explains everything, it's interesting.

It may sound weird but I kinda like when Nightmare has nightmare's.

And thinking in Nightmare going to Cross's room to sleep better it's so cute. ♡
