I (aroace), calmly, and sometimes with interest, read the new storyline with hints of romance: Oh, so that’s how they’ll present it? I like it; it turned out incredibly tender. And the scene is so beautiful, and the atmosphere is simply magical.

I know everyone has different tastes and views; it’s just funny how the fandom behaves, as if hints of romance are some kind of poison or the most terrible twist in the plot — worse than the death of a character.
