1.) What's a snake you dream of working with (as a pet)? Honestly as a pet, I’m only particularly interested in owning a ball python
9.) Favorite snake? I’m interpreting this as an individual snake. And the answer may surprise you. In the past I’ve talked about a snake I took care of as a class pet who I loved very much, and his name was Monty (a ball python of course). However my favorite snake I ever met was a Grey-Banded King snake named William Snakespeare. He was nicknamed Willy. First of all, Willy was gorgeous - I loved how his eyes matched his skin. And I also got to see him grow! They got him as a young snake and I was able to see him grow up. I met Willy through volunteering as an animal handler at the zoo I now work at.
20.) What's the cutest thing you've ever seen a snake do? Why is it that we all find it so cute when snakes drink? I find it so cute when they drink and their face bubbles back and forth.
25.) What's a snake you want to have? I want to have Monty, the ball python class pet I worked with. The teacher who cared for him couldn’t have him anymore. She had gotten him from a student, who got him from an irresponsible owner (fed him live for fun), and who knows who had him before that. When my teacher told me she was looking for a home for Monty I wanted to say yes so badly but I knew I couldn’t. I was about to live in an Airbnb for three months and I had no idea where I would end up after that. I still wish I could’ve taken him in and been his forever home
