This is a screenshot from when I played RLCraft. I forgot whether it was through the Technic Launcher or through the CurseForge Launcher.
Either way, this image proves that Uncommon Subspecies (from Lycanite’s Mobs and exclusive to the mobs it adds, most of them have two uncommon subspecies based on one of ten colors as well as the common subspecies, which is just a normal version of that creature; a few have rare subspecies also for one of those ten colors that serve as mini-bosses) and being enhanced by Infernal Mobs are NOT mutually exclusive.
This is the Rare singed vespid of You-Cant-Run. Its status as a Scarlet Vespid is not registered in the Infernal Mobs health bar (which is in the style of Diablo, like the enhancements it provides).
Its powers are Storm (calling down lightning to strike the target; it targeted me even when I was in Creative Mode), Alchemist (throws splash potions with negative effects like a Witch; this is where the “singed” prefix comes from, and again, it targeted me even in Creative Mode), and Quicksand (inflicts the Slowness status effect on you; I know it’s not visible in this frame; it’s also where “You-Cant-Run” came from).
Surprisingly, it barely had any more health that a Scarlet Vespid NOT enhanced by Infernal Mobs. Maybe that and its few powers are due to being an Elite (the lowest level of mob enhanced by that mod; the next level up is Ultra, which have an orange name in their health bar and more powers, and the highest level is Infernal, which has a red name and lots of those powers, though I haven’t seen an Infernal with every single power). 1 in 10 mobs is an Elite, which all have “Rare” in their health bars. 1 in 5 Elites becomes Ultra, so that’s a 2%, or 1 in 50, chance. 1 in three Ultras becomes Infernal, which is chance equal to 0.6...% (the dots indicate that the 6 is repeating). Only Elites are considered for Ultra rolls, and only Ultras are considered for Infernal rolls.
It ultimately despawned, but it was interesting to follow it around.
