i know that mod greyscale is the one who associates stuff with sounds and music, but i think both mods should listen to Lauv - Paris In The Rain! it's a really pretty song that i recommend ^ u ^

Heyoo, Mod Greyscale hereee! I’ll make sure Mod Milk listens to this song too and reblogs with her own thoughts on it, even if she doesn’t have any synesthetic experiences with it ;D I don’t know whether or not she will so I won’t make any promises for her ;P

Color: Mmmmmmm as soon as the artist started singing, emerald green popped out at me. The low notes that played in the instrumental every few beats had dark admiral blue rising up and down with the beat, but fading away when the note ended. Around 2:30 when everything starts picking up more, the color started shifting to and eventually became a more canary yellow color, and the blue shades faded away. When it went back to mostly just vocals towards the end, the color shifted down into a light midnight blue. It was really nice watching this little light show in my head while listening to this!

Taste: My taste of this song was lemon flavored Italian ice, with less of the sourness of lemon and much more of its sweetness. As odd as it may sound, this song tasted delicious ;D

I’m on my way to downloading this song right now, it was so pleasing to listen to to me T^T also, I’ve never heard of this artist before but I can tell this is a star in the making. Their vocals are amazing! Thanks for sending in this song~

Hey Mod Greyscale, can you do Amets too?

Of course! I’ve never heard this name before and I really like it.

Color: “Amets” gives off sunset orange, light brown autumn colors to me. It has rich color, but not as if it’s uncomfortably sticking out. It blends into its surroundings naturally, like leaves on a tree in autumn would.

Taste: This name tastes a lot like the Keebler Vanilla Sugar Wafers to me. It seems bland at first, but then gradually becomes sweeter towards its last syllable.

Sorry for taking a little longer to respond than Mod Milk, today was a very busy day for me but it was nice to lay in bed thinking about this really nice name ^^

Hello! First, I have to say thank you very VERY much for telling me about this song, I can tell why it’s one of your favorites! I really like music but I’m more of someone who only hears it if it’s from a game, on the radio, or someone has me listen to it, so if it weren’t for you I never would have heard this song. Thank you T^T

Overall, this song tasted very refreshing to me. It was like the taste of snow when it starts getting warm after a blizzard, but the snow hasn’t started to melt yet. It was a taste that just touches the tip of your tongue and fades away, but you feel it again when you swallow it and it’s a kind of feeling that gives you the good kind of chills. I could breathe the cold air coming off of the “snow” taste without the fog of my breath coming into contact with the air.

I know you didn’t ask for color, but I want to say it still that this song had me seeing deep, foresty greens with very faint flashes of lighter shades every few seconds.

That’s such a really pretty name!! I actually have a character with this name, and I based her appearance/personality on how my synesthesia interprets it!!

Colors: Something between salmon pink and coral pink. It’s very pleasing on the eyes~

Personality: Typically seen as mature, and may even be like an older sibling to a group of friends! Knows how to keep their cool when others are stressed out, being the level headed one who calms everyone else down. Incredibly gentle and kind, treating everyone as a friend, making them a person others are easily attracted to!!

Visual aesthetic: Long, wavy, strawberry blonde hair and a red and pink flower crown. Sweater paws and knit scarves. Short skirts and stockings. Blushing cheeks and shy kisses. Cuddles shared beneath a fluffy, caramel colored blanket, and a mug of white coffee held between gentle hands. A very soft aesthetic~ (Mod Milk is incredibly gay and poetic)

Color: I agree with Mod Milk on the color- it’s like a soft pink, but closer to a cotton candy kind of pink to me.

Hello! I’m open to songs of every language or even if they don’t have lyrics at all, so don’t worry about that :D it is a very catchy song like you said too ^^

Color: This song to me was a deep, rose red with occasional flicks of a low-saturation blue after about a minute into it. It made me feel warm, like a day when it’s cold outside but you’re inside wrapped up in a fluffy blanket.

Taste: I got a lot of Hershey’s milk chocolate tastes from this song, it felt very smooth and sweet. Not sweet in the way that a lollipop would be described, but sweet in the way that a Hershey’s Kiss is. Whenever the song was just instrumental, I could taste the Sweethearts candies. I can’t remember which color of those is less, well, not sour but leaning toward sour tastes, but it tasted most like the least “sour” Sweetheart ^^;

I think I’ll be listening to songs like this a lot more often now ;D thank you for this submission!

To Mod Greyscale: Don't Stay In School by Boyinaband?

Hiya! I’ve never actually been a fan of rap music really, but this song really carried a lot of weight. Thank you for sending it in :D

Color: Grey, with whiteish horizontal streaks, kind of like static on a TV. There was also a glowing layer behind of golden yellow, lighting up the whiter spots in the color. As you can see by my Mod name, I’m a fan of greyscale kinds of palettes, so this was very appealing to me :D

Taste: This is a very specific taste! One of my favorite things to have, actually; the Wintergreen flavor of Mentos NOW Mints. Jesus Christ this sounds like an ad I’m sorry 😭 it’s just so specific and it’s hard to describe it any other wayyyy

I love your blog (: could greyscale give their thoughts on wrinkles by Alec Benjamin?

This was such a sweet song! Lots of good feels coming my way now (￣∇￣)

Color: I don’t think I’ve had so many color changes in such a short amount of time in one song before, wow. In just the first third of the song it went from dark green, to sky blue, to dark blue; in the part close to the end where only piano was playing it went all the way up to light pink, then back down to dark blue where it finished. Hoo boy was that nice to see!

Taste: Like homemade buttercream frosting… it tasted so good and I want to eat this song now. That’s such a weird thing to say but it’s so true. So sweet, so smooth, perfect.
