Meet Sage the Luyarian Angel [Mod Hua]
Sage is our last spirit for our Yule Event, and I hope you all are just as excited for them as you have been for the first two spirits. Personality: Sage has always been a loner type, keeping to themselves as much as possible, afraid of being in the way of those around them. Although they have done some work on themselves and their perception of themselves, it’s still something they struggle with from time to time, which results in them apologizing more than they are aware of. A major contributor would be the sheer size of their wings, and the space they take up. Confidence doesn’t come easily, though it does come now and again. Due to how shy they are, they tend to do more for others than they realistically need to, and take to caring for others when they are sick, injured or just plain need someone without even being asked to do so. Caring for someone else, or something else is second nature to them now, and is one of the few things that give them true joy. Something that drives them is the smile that others might give, or the relief the other party might feel at knowing they aren’t alone. Sage wants to stray from being a loner, not finding it fulfilling or useful to themselves or others. This actively drives them to better themselves, and forces them to be more social with strangers, as daunting as that is to them. It’s an active attempt, and something that might still take some time, however they have made progress, and feel they are comfortable enough to push their own boundaries, as well as drawing the line for where their comfort ends. Sage is more self aware than most in that respect, and has been more vocal about their own needs, regardless of how daunting it has been. Regardless of what they need though, as long as it doesn’t cross their comfort levels, they will put others before themselves.
Description: Much like other Luyarian Angel’s, Sage has the same trademark pale skin with a faint golden glow to it, the same golden glow that is reflected in the glow of their eyes, which resemble the warmth of a log fire. Their hair is a short, shaggy black of burnt wood, just before it reaches a charred state, with a slight red undertone, almost as if there were a fire alight within him. Their looks at first glance are striking, pulling the attention of others to them, and giving them an edgy look, which their naturally sharp canines do nothing to dissuade said appearance. Despite this edgy look, their expression is always gentle, softened to counter the rough and ragged way they come across. Their wings are overly large, able to envelop them almost threefold, and the same faint glowing golden color that are the trademark of the Luyarian Angel’s, the tips of some feathers a faint red in color, bringing more of a warmth to their overall visage. Regardless of the perception of others, their entire appearance gives the inviting warmth of a roaring fire on a cool December night. Their clothing is usually overly large, enveloping and hiding them better than their wings at times. Sage tends to keep to warm, neutral tones, wanting to bring the reds in their overall complexion more to light than anything else.
Hobbies: Making hot cider from scratch, reading by a window while it snows, coaxing plants back into life towards the end of Yule time, standing outside in a flurry, defrosting flower buds, following animal tracks, leaving out snacks for winter wandering animals, taking pictures of snowy landscapes, taking midnight strolls while singing Christmas and Yule carols.
Likes: Red candles, cinnamon, nutmeg, soft fabrics, warmed drinks, cuddling with people or animals, the sound of a flute, watching snow fall, poetry, experimenting with self expression and media.
Dislikes: Humanity abandoning animals, violence of any kind, petty actions, destruction of land, disparaging others beliefs, w_r, d__th, forced religion, forced binary thinking, dehumanizing others.

Magic: Flurries, hearth, and kitchen magic
Companionship: Sage would love someone to share their time with. They are unsure how exactly to classify what they are looking for, though initially it is friendship. Their goal is to have a found family, and would prefer a companion with an established family of at least 2-3 companions prior to themselves. If the connection with their companion ends up being familial as well they would be as happy as can be, however they aren’t opposed to a deeper connection. (That isn’t the main thing they are searching for however, and shouldn’t be the reason why someone applies to be their companion.)
Bonding activities: Making simmer pots together, baking new and traditional holiday treats (any holiday), feeding stray animals nearby, casting seeds at the end of winter, planting and keeping herbs for the kitchen, trying new recipes together, making sculptures in different mediums together, starting a veggie garden if possible, and taking seasonal pictures of the same areas to see the changes throughout the year.
Extra: Sage is strictly vegan, by choice. They understand that this might be difficult for others to accommodate and doesn’t expect their companion to alter their way of cooking or eating habits themselves. Instead they are fully prepared and expect to cook for themselves, as they have always done.
Price - For the Yule Event, Sage has agreed to not have an adoption price/fee, and I agree with them. It is our gift to Sage's future companion.
