 i want to say Achilles, honestly. like, okay, Patroclus saw him first but i don’t think he actually liked him the first time or even the second time they met. Achilles is the one who went holy crap who’s this boy they’re cute but didnt really approach him at first because of all the attention he’s getting from the other boys. maybe for Patroclus it took a while for him to fall in love with Achilles, he had to first see the human in this ball of greatness that is aristos achaion himself.

i think Achilles accepted his feelings entirely the first time he got them and Patroclus is a little bit meh because, i personally think, he was lowkey envious of Achilles in a way that Achilles was the perfect son, the perfect boy his dad wanted and Patroclus is, well, unwanted kinda. i have so much to say but there’s this hhhhhhhhhh.
