      Spellbound has officially reached our stretch goal!

At fifty orders, Spellbound is excited to announce that we’ll now be including this gorgeous 35mm enamel pin by @lespiritdesigns in all merch and full bundle orders!

The mods of Spellbound would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the zine process so far, from everyone who has shared our posts, to everyone who applied for the zine, to our amazing 38 participants, and finally, everyone who has purchased their own copy of Spellbound, our merch, or the PDFs.

Applications for Spellbound: A Voltron Halloween Zine                         Are Open from Now Until May 20th!

We will be accepting a total of 36 participants made up of 8 writers and 19 artists, 1 cover artist, and 8-10 merch artists!

April 20th: Applications open at midnight EST!

May 20th: Apps close at midnight EST!

May 25th: Acceptance/Rejection emails will be sent out.

Application Requirements:

We’d like you to show us 3 examples of what you consider to be your zine standard. Writers should submit pieces that are 2-5k words in length each, and we welcome excerpts from longer stories. Artists should provide 3 examples of what they consider best represents their art style. Your examples do not need to be Voltron related, but it’s recommended that at least one of them is!

As always, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to shoot us an ask! We look forward to seeing your submissions!!!

    Preorders for Spellbound: A Voltron Halloween Zine       will be open from September 5th to October 5th!

Over the last few months, our participants have been hard at work to complete their zine pieces, and tomorrow, we’re pleased to say that it’s finally time for preorders to open!

Preorders will be open from September 5th (midnight EST) until October 5th (midnight EST), so don’t miss out!

Under the cut, we’ve outlined what will be included in our sales.

PHYSICAL ZINE - $20

  Preorders for Spellbound: A Voltron Halloween Zine                                                  are now closed!

We’d like to thank everyone who shared our posts and ordered a copy of Spellbound, our merch, or the PDFs of the main zine and Entranced. We had an incredible preorder season, and we couldn’t have made that happen without our amazing participants, our buyers, and the followers who shared our advertisements. 

The winner of the Spellbound PDF giveaway will be contacted within the next 24 hours! This winner will have another 24 hours to confirm their interest in receiving the PDF once physical zines and merch ship. 

Stay tuned for production updates, the giveaway winner announcement, and much more! 

All proceeds from Spellbound sales will be donated to The World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Proceeds from Entranced: A Spellbound Bonus PDF will directly fund discounted participant bundles of Spellbound and our merch.

     Spellbound: A Voltron Halloween Zine - Updates

Preorders closed last weekend and a lot has happened since then, so we come to you today with a little list of updates for our buyers!

All merch and zines have been ordered, proofed, and are currently on their way to Mod Lance! In fact, the prints and packing supplies are already here!

The winner of our PDF giveaways have been chosen and contacted, as you may have seen in the announcement earlier this week! Congratulations to them and thank you to everyone who entered!

We received a total of 80 orders!! Wow! 12 of them were PDF only, 16 of them were Zine only, and a whole 52 of them were full bundles! Thank you so much to everyone who ordered, we hope to have your orders shipped out soon!

Saturdays are our designated update day! We plan to post one every week, even if we don’t have much to update you on, just to let you guys know we’re still here!

If you purchased a copy of Entranced with your order and you haven’t received an email with the PDF, please check your spam folders and then send us an email ([email protected]) or an off-anon ask with the email you used to purchase and your order #! We sent the Entranced PDFs out within a few hours of receiving the orders, so everyone who bought one should have gotten it by now!

That being said, the PDF for the main zine will be sent when physical orders are shipped, so don’t stress about not getting that yet!

Thank you all again for your support thus far, whether you ordered anything or not! Without you and our amazing participants, this zine would be nothing!
