All of our participants have worked to hard to bring this zine to life, and you can practically feel the love for Halloween and Voltron oozing from the pages of this zine, like ectoplasm dripping from a ghost!

All packages were shipped from the UK, so they could take a few weeks to arrive depending on where you live. When they do arrive however, we would absolutely love for you to show us! You can tag us in a picture through all of our social media:

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who applied to this zine, followed the blog and twitter account, and shared our posts through this process! We received 154 amazing apps for this zine (85 artists, 42 writers, 15 cover artists, and 29 merch artists), and it was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to just 36 participants. It was an honor to be allowed to see so many amazing art pieces and read so many phenomenal stories, and we hope that no matter what the results are for this zine, all of you continue creating.

What this means now:
If you received a rejection email but signed up to be a pinch hitter, we could potentially be contacting you in the future. However, signing up to be a pinch hitter on your application doesn’t mean that you’re required to be one at a later date! If we contact you and don’t hear a response within 24 hours, we’ll contact another pinch hitter to take that space.
If you received an acceptance email, you’ll have 48 hours to respond to the form provided in the email before your spot is forfeited to a pinch hitter. If you find that you’ll be unable to fill out the form for whatever reason, please contact us here or at [email protected]! It’s recommended that you also join our zine server to get the fastest updates, but it’s not required. We’ll also be asking for a more solid example of what you’re anticipating to create for the zine, and we’ll be checking in with each participant to be totally sure that everyone knows what they need to do before the first check-in!
Once again, we mods have been absolutely humbled by the sheer amount of wonderful and talented people who have applied to this zine. It’s impossible to express our gratitude fully, but we hope that we can all work together to create a zine that everyone involved with the process can be proud of.
