hey there, thank you for the kind words!! glad to hear that our projects have sparked some interest ❤️

and we’re stoked that garcole and zatelyn have piqued some interest as well!! we love those two dynamics by themselves, but actually the dynamics between all four of them is one of our favorite things in our rewrite

garroth and zane of course are siblings, having that same tension and angst from the og diaries. they're very bitter toward each other. garroth dislikes zane for leaning into garte's influence so heavily, and zane resents garroth for disappearing from his position as heir

garroth and nicole are childhood best friends, platonic soulmates if you will. they knew ever since they were small that they'd be betrothed for the scaleswind-o'khasian alliance. they escaped their duties as heirs, but that won't stop them from finding new positions of leadership to stumble into…

garroth and katelyn are THE brother sister duo. both eldest siblings, they understand each other extremely well. katelyn, who grew up with four blood brothers, is extremely used to garroth's fuckery

zane and katelyn are "enemies" to lovers real. after garroth left, they only had each other…..

and nicole and katelyn…… let’s just say they are yumihisu variants…. no further comment. - mods kate and laur
