*falls from the blanket void with a Government Grandpa in the metaphorical pear wiggler*
I find it interesting that Galeforce seems to know much more then he lets on.
Like he knew the Toppat Clan were up to no good but he couldn't place them to any crimes, needing to have Henry thrown into their airship to either gather evidence or capture Reginald.
Despite not having evidence on the Toppats, he had a significant amount on Henry that he could use as blackmail, had the pardon already written out with the library clause for some reason and had the helicopter they were in equipped with the map of the entire Airship and tools to hack it and such.
Speaking of evidence, Galeforce knows Henry stole the Tunisian Diamond regardless of StD route while the Toppats only know Henry as that guy who stole the Romanian Ruby during JB and TR.
No matter what route in ItA happens, Galeforce always becomes General afterwards, the Toppats are now known potentially across the globe and somehow he knows about the Toppat's rocket plans no matter who the leader is.
While Galeforce probably knew about Right being defeated due to being able to track Henry back on the airship (shown during PBT), he somehow knew that he was turned into a cyborg sometime afterwards.
The bio card in FtC has no idea who Ellie is, Dmitri only refers to her as that girl in the beginning of PP/TR and at the very least Reginald and Right don't know Ellie. Galeforce however has had Ellie on his watch list for a while at the end of PP and had no problem with her tagging along a Government sanctioned mission during TT.
Random thought but out of all the Henry does things solo paths (Toppat 4 Life, Little Nest Egg, Cleaned 'em Out, Jewel Baron, Stickmin Space Resort and technically Free Man) T4L is the only one where Henry does something for others (stopping the Government from attacking the Toppat launch) instead of him making his decision for selfish reasons. (wanting riches, wanting an entire rocket and even wanting to escape no matter what)
Henry could've just ignored the information he overheard and enjoy his being technically dead status, or he could've let the Government take down the Toppats and him looting the rewards in the shadows, or even doing a CEO but with Government valuables since they would be busy with the raid.
But he didn't, choosing to sabotage the Government of his own violation instead and protecting the Toppat Clan.
I know I've come up with what feels like a hundred ideas on Terrence and his leadership, but I just thought of another one.
Reginald knowing Terrence was going to be a bad, impulsive leader and just letting him bring about his own downfall, using that to secure his own leadership when the time was right.
So you know how there are AUs where Charles survives Valiant Hero but ends up with amnesia and found by anyone but the Government?
What if instead it was Jacked Hughman that survived and he was found by the Government with amnesia, with the extra fun part of Jacked somehow joining them and Galeforce deciding to team Jacked up with Henry?
I'm sure Henry would have some feelings with having to work alongside someone who was basically Charles' killer but currently doesn't remember doing it.
So we know that Billy G was dethroned by Sir Wilford IV and that he was apparently a romantic in some way even though several people claimed he wasn't their lover.
And we know that Wilford is alive from how the bio cards speak of him but his status and whereabouts are unknown.
So what if Billy had something to do with whatever happened to Wilford?
Maybe Billy joined an enemy side after his dethronement and used his knowledge of the Toppats or even just knowledge of Wilford to capture him in a possible battle.
Or maybe Billy laid low until he got an opportunity to attack just Wilford in revenge back on the Airship, either knocking him or them both off, or just the two getting knocked into an escape pod that landed in such a way that it couldn't return and leaving Wilford and Billy stranded somewhere away from any Toppats or civilization.
And one that takes inspiration from Steven Universe, Wilford finding himself in a tough battle, surrounded and no way for Toppats to get there in time. But then out of nowhere, Billy shows up and appears to be on Wilford's side.
Things still look bad but then Billy would suggest that he and Wilford fuse to even things up, explaining that they both want to return to their respective homes alive and that once a Toppat, always a Toppat. (And maybe if you throw in a divorced Billy and Wilfy relationship or friendship, you could throw in a fun "Let's fuse one last time, old friend.")
So with some hesitation, Wilford fuses with Billy and everything is fine with the fusion at first.
But then chains from either the ground or the ocean launch up and restrain Wilford and Billy's fusion, with Wilford realizing too late that this was a trap, the fusion then either dragged into the ocean or the ground below, or further restrained by the enemy surrounding them to be taken to who knows where and Wilford unable to break free from the fusion thanks to Billy.
Just thinking about the friendships and fallouts involving Henry between Reginald and Charles.
How Henry and Charles' friendship started right off the bat and continued into the broship seen in SBO, TT and even VH, but Henry and Reginald's friendship took time to build.
How Henry and Reginald's friendship ending in basically fireworks and death during R and TCW, but Henry and Charles' friendship ending basically off screen in CEO, Henry fully going back to a life of crime with only a Government radio and a sticky note remaining from a lost friendship.
How Henry and Charles have several ending cards of just them together, but while Henry and Reginald share their cards with other Toppats, Reginald gets to narrate the ending of TK.
And how both Charles and Reginald both trust Henry to do his thing in their positive paths, but leaving Ellie behind is the only thing that causes that trust and friendship to be broken for the two.
I thought I mentioned this idea before but searching my own Tumblr only yielded the Thomas Chestershire sorta version of this.
Read more because this accidentally got a tad long.
So Terrence Suave has become the leader of the Toppat Clan after what fate happened to befall Sir Wilford IV, and he is not a good leader in the slightest, launching raids and heists without reason or plans, at first for the thrills but then it became out of desperation.
Over time the Toppats start seeing Terrence less and less, maybe getting an order here and there, but most communications between leader and Toppats were sent through Terrence's right hand, Right Hand Man, who never said anything related to why Terrence wasn't showing his face.
But around the same time a new recruit to the Toppat Clan shows up named Reginald Copperbottom, a man wanting to get away from his past and start life anew as a Toppat.
People found Reginald to be charming to be around, being able to take a bad situation and turn it around with his wits and bring about new ideas that would help the Toppats.
Even Right Hand Man, who never really strayed from his right hand duties to hang out with random Toppats, was hanging out with Reginald the more Terrence hid from the public eye.
Reginald saw first hand the damages that Terrence was causing and wanted to change that, he wanted the Toppats to succeed and if that meant dethroning Terrence then it would be done.
Reginald first tried to reason with Terrence when he could, but he always found the leader locked away in his office, yelling short answers from behind the door for Reginald to mind his own business or sending him off on some random mission he pulled from his ass.
So Reginald waited until Terrence least expected it, when Right would be away on a mission and the man would be alone in the cockpit of the Toppat Airship.
And after some fighting, Terrence was pushed into an escape pod, hatless and stripped of his Toppat leadership, launched off near some prison complex in Canada to never be seen again.
Except, Reginald never actually dethroned Terrence, seeing as it is impossible to dethrone yourself to make yourself the new leader.
The Toppats celebrated Reginald's victory and soon things got better as Reginald's leadership and Right now being his right hand would lead the Toppats to a brighter future.
Terrence knew he was fucking up as leader, that the Toppats saw him as pathetic and the enemy and that fixing his mistakes was becoming less and less of an option.
So he created the Reginald Copperbottom identity, someone new that could win the Toppats hearts and use the experience among his fellow criminals to see what clearly needed to be done, with Right being in on the whole thing.
So while Reginald was becoming more and more beloved, Terrence knew he needed to make himself more and more like a villain, to give the narrative that extra push that would truly make Reginald the hero, setting up prerecorded audio that Right could play remotely so that it seemed like Terrence was still hiding away at times or Terrence only coming out while Reginald was on a mission to make it feel like he feared the newest recruit.
As for the big fight that happened, well Terrence was actually being played by Right in a mask, being able to hide most of his face with his hat and how he held his head. And while the escape pod was programmed to be sent near the prison complex, the unmanned escape pod that Right supposedly left in earlier was there and ready to return Right home to the Airship at the right time.
It is a secret that Reginald and Right plan on never revealing.
