Day 22 of Stickmintober: Among Us
I joked in the past about the old leaders playing Among Us for the first time thinking it would be easy...
I messed up on the typography here and ran out of time for shading. >_<

Terrence ain’t special yknow
The Toppat Leaders! (Just the ones I hadn't designed until now) (+ headcanons & design notes)
I gotta give a lotta thanks to @bluetorchsky for helping me brainstorm stuff bout these guys ^^
"I'm not turning you into a vampire to 'complete your aesthetic' Reginald, your violent enough as is and I don't want to give you an excuse to drink blood."
Billy G, unfortunately
I wonder what toppat leaders' opinions on Henry? 🤔
I think I assume Terrence's opinions on Henry is that he jealous of Henry because he also likes Reginald or something like that... 😅
all the ghosts not shown are… uhh… neutral (i sweat as i hide the fact i have no ideas for their personalities/identities)
terrence is not jealous at all wdym hahahahaha (i say with him holding me at gun point /j)
*cracks open a random window from the void*
So we know that Billy G was dethroned by Sir Wilford IV and that he was apparently a romantic in some way even though several people claimed he wasn't their lover.
And we know that Wilford is alive from how the bio cards speak of him but his status and whereabouts are unknown.
So what if Billy had something to do with whatever happened to Wilford?
Maybe Billy joined an enemy side after his dethronement and used his knowledge of the Toppats or even just knowledge of Wilford to capture him in a possible battle.
Or maybe Billy laid low until he got an opportunity to attack just Wilford in revenge back on the Airship, either knocking him or them both off, or just the two getting knocked into an escape pod that landed in such a way that it couldn't return and leaving Wilford and Billy stranded somewhere away from any Toppats or civilization.
And one that takes inspiration from Steven Universe, Wilford finding himself in a tough battle, surrounded and no way for Toppats to get there in time. But then out of nowhere, Billy shows up and appears to be on Wilford's side.
Things still look bad but then Billy would suggest that he and Wilford fuse to even things up, explaining that they both want to return to their respective homes alive and that once a Toppat, always a Toppat. (And maybe if you throw in a divorced Billy and Wilfy relationship or friendship, you could throw in a fun "Let's fuse one last time, old friend.")
So with some hesitation, Wilford fuses with Billy and everything is fine with the fusion at first.
But then chains from either the ground or the ocean launch up and restrain Wilford and Billy's fusion, with Wilford realizing too late that this was a trap, the fusion then either dragged into the ocean or the ground below, or further restrained by the enemy surrounding them to be taken to who knows where and Wilford unable to break free from the fusion thanks to Billy.
hey!
Maybe I’m delusional as hell but from a business/playing perspective do you think that Zeev is gonna stay in van? My intuition is no considering the state that team is in
Also, is there a slight chance Billy G might try to get them (Buium and Rossi) back? It all feels so strange to me that Minnesota went through everything they did to develop them only to then trade them off
Lastly, what are your thoughts on the current climate in van? All signs point to hell at this point. Do think Buium is gonna fit in that roster? Where do you think he’ll end up if he moves? He seemed perfect for the vibe in Minnesota.
Holy yap yesh lol just thinking many thoughts
hi thanks! love a good yap sesh, heres what i think:
i honestly don’t think zeev staying in vancouver long term makes much sense, and it’s not even about his talent because that’s obviously there. it’s more that van just feels so unstable as an environment, like they don’t really know what they are and everything is so reactionary. that kind of chaos is brutal for a young defenseman who plays a calm, cerebral game and needs trust and patience to really shine. unless vancouver suddenly commits to a clear direction and actually protects him while he grows, it feels way more likely that he eventually moves on rather than settling there for his prime years.
and yeah, there is a slight chance billy g would try to get buium and rossi back, especially buium. it feels weird because minnesota went through all that effort developing them, preaching patience and culture, just to move on before fully benefiting from it (we dont even know if hughes will stay with them). that doesn’t mean the players failed, it feels more like the organization got impatient or felt pressure to change things fast. once the cap situation eases and if minnesota realizes they’re missing exactly the kind of players they traded, it wouldn’t be shocking if billy at least explored the idea of bringing one of them back.
the current climate in vancouver just feels rough in general, like emotionally exhausting and constantly tense. there’s talent on the roster, but the vibes are loud and unforgiving, and young players get judged so fast. buium fits the roster on the ice, but off the ice it’s questionable if that environment really suits him, especially compared to how perfect he felt for minnesota’s calmer, more structured vibe. if he does end up moving again, it feels like he’d thrive way more in a place that values stability and patience, and it’s hard not to think minnesota or a similar team would make way more sense for him in the long run. hopefully van doesnt do him the way they did hughes, thats all i need to say
