they both love to hear about the things you like; music included! granted, you won't often hear them say it out loud, especially from anti, but hey, it's the thought that counts, yeah?
the way people use the term "narcissistic abuse" is so weird cuz i used to think it implied a narcissistic person being abused instead of being abused by a narcissistic person 😭
just like how the terms "child abuse" and "animal abuse" mean children and animals being abused rather than someone being abused BY them
You would think, alas
"basic human empathy" don't like what you're implying there bud!

This is unfortunately saneism. They definitely often play into the sensationalization of mental illness and can be quite saneist and ableist.
One customer telling me his coworker was "faking depression" because "I saw him driving a car with his girlfriend and he was SMILING". As if you couldn't smile or even *gasp!* have fun while suffering from depression? (he saw him drive by for like 5 seconds...)

People saying "abled-bodied" when they are talking about non-disabled people. "abled" is right there.
This is saneism and ableism.
my dad had bipolar disorder. in the 70s, when he was 9ish, his school's psychiatrist said "if you were an adult id say you were manic-depressant, but we all know kids can't get depressed"
and in the 2000s, when it was affecting his ability to work, he tried to get evaluated and read the notes, (he doesn't trust psychiatrists for the most part and learned to read upside-down in order to know what they're writing about what he's saying) the psyche wrote "Mr. [last name] claims to be xyz, Mr. [last name] claims to experience xyz symptoms" and basically just claimed my dad was faking it to get benefits...
