Whatever DLC comes with the Delux Download and the Black Emporium

Practically every time i go to merge a mod or number of mods this  comes up/happens:

 The Task Failed Error Reported Was: The file ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch_ModManagerMerge\Data\Win32\chunkgroups\chunks07.toc’ already exists.

Word of Mod Note: This error means that you are not using the latest Mod Manager. Please refer to this post to get the latest and greatest version.

Patch level you are running: 11 DLCs you have installed: Spoils of the Quin, Trespassers, Bonus Content  Specific mod issue (if applicable): No mods work. Brief summary of issue: I go to merge the mods into a package and I get this issue

Word of Mod Note: No Patch 11 has been released. You are running Patch 10, which has a Version Number of 11, so that is what it displays in the Mod Manager. Remember, Patch number and Version number are not the same due to some patching hilarity by Bioware early in the patching process for DAI. 

The errors you report above have to do with Jaws of Hakkon, which is odd since you don’t have it listed in you installed DLC. Did you have it installed at one point and then uninstall it? 

At any rate, if you have already done the basic troubleshooting steps (repair game, delete and re-download the DAI Tools Suite Loader to re-set your Mod Manager settings, checked the box for ‘Force rescan of Patch’, &c), then at this point you should try uninstalling and re-installing the game completely. This sometimes is necessary (the Word of Mod has had to do it themselves, actually).

Mods broken from newest patch

Patch 10, no DLCs, aesthetic mods not working;

It seems that Shantia’s eyebrows and Korikoc’s undercut ponytail are no longer working on my game after the latest patch. So far I’ve tried re-merging my mods, but I received the “index is out of range before it can complete.

Word of Mod Note: Please make sure you have updated to the newest Mod Manager, as a new one was released for Patch 10. If you don’t update the Mod Manager, the mods likely won’t merge properly.

DAI Mod Manager hanging while merging.

Hello there. I have a problem with merging my mods. :( Every time I run Mod Manager for my game after it’s update, it keeps hanging during the merging process. First at the loctext, now at the creatures.

Patch level you are running: 10 (the latest one if I’m not mistaken) DLCs you have installed: Black Emporium, Dragon Slayer Multiplayer Expansion, Destruction Multiplayer Expansion, Flames of the Inquisition Weapons Specific mod issue (if applicable):  Brief summary of issue: My Mod Manager gets stuck at merging first at merging loctext files, now at the creatures files. Troubleshooting performed so far:

I followed a guide on the DAI_ModManager Nexus forum where I have backup the en.sb & en.toc files from my \Update\Patch\data\Win32\loctext\ and replace them with the same files from \Update\Patch\data\Win32\llocfacefx\ which solves my merging hanging at the loctext line. Then it hangs again at

Word of Mod Note: That guide you describe sounds very outdated, so the Word of Mod suspects you might also have an outdated Mod Manager. Please obtain the newest version by referring to this post.

PROBLEM

Patch level: 10

DLCs: Black Emporium

Brief summary: Every time I try to load up DAI, it doesn’t show up and only appears as a background program on Task Manager. If I remove the merged patch folder, it works again. If I merge it - even if only with the Official Patch - the issue persists.

Troubleshooting: As stated above, I tried deleting the merged patch folder. Also, I tried the Repair Game solution. Did not work.

Patch 10

Jaws of Hakkon, Black Emporium, Flames of the Inquisition weapons, armour and mount, Deluxe content

Whenever I patch mods through manager v0.58 on patch 10, the game will not load. Origin will run for a moment, and then the app will sit in my task manger, never opening. Removing the mod manger patch and going to a vanilla version loads the game. Happens no matter what mods I have installed, unless I just load it as a blank with only the official patch loaded.

Run both the game and the mod manger as admin, used compatibility manager, run Origin in admin mode, tried disabling mods, tried running as different users, pressed update on the suite loader repeatedly. Nothing works.

Word of Mod Note: You may need to either check the ‘Force rescan of Patch’ button or delete your patch.daimod folder. For further detail on how to do either of these steps, please refer to the DAI Mod Manager Troubleshooting Tips.

I can’t run any mods whatsoever in my game. I’m not entirely sure why, but I can’t even use the newest mods. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, even repaired it, but it only runs if I play it un-modded. I am admittedly reluctant to change the patch number, but I am going to try it relatively soon. 

A clean mod patch works, but it refuses to work if even one mod is merged into the patch. 

Word of Mod Note: There are two recommendations we would suggest. First, make sure that the antivirus on your computer is not blocking DAI from running (yes, it has actually happened)

Second, if this is the first time you have merged mods with Patch 10 (the latest patch released this past Thursday), make sure you click the ‘Force rescan of Patch’ in the lower right-hand corner of Mod Manager and attempt to merge the mods again. 

If neither of the above suggestions work, refer to this Mod Manager Troubleshooting guide.

DAI tools Suite error, DAI Mod Manager stops working

Patch level you are running: Newest 10 I believe it is DLCs you have installed: All but Spoils of Qunari Specific mod issue (if applicable): It’s the DAI Suite issue Brief summary of issue: When I launch the suite it says trouble contacting server then when I launch the mod manager it stops working completely. Troubleshooting performed so far: I’ve deleted and redownloaded it and nothing, still does it. I even run it as admin and turned off my firewall.

Word of Mod Note: The Word of Mod was able to just now successfully connect and download, so you might want to try again just in case it was a temporary inability to connect. If you still do not have success, you can find information on where to download the new Mod Manager in this thread on the DAI Tools forum.
