PROBLEM
Patch level: 10
DLCs: Black Emporium
Brief summary: Every time I try to load up DAI, it doesn’t show up and only appears as a background program on Task Manager. If I remove the merged patch folder, it works again. If I merge it - even if only with the Official Patch - the issue persists.
Troubleshooting: As stated above, I tried deleting the merged patch folder. Also, I tried the Repair Game solution. Did not work.
Word of Mod Note: You may need to rescan the official patch or delete the patch.daimod file. Please refer to this DAI Mod Manager Troubleshooting Guide for further details on how to do that if you are unsure how to go about it.

I can’t get the above form to work, but… I’ve been running patch 9, I believe. Anyway, it was the latest patch on offer. I had been checking every day for the new patch in preparation for the Trespasser. They dropped it just after midnight last night. NO MODS WORK. The .57 mod manager will not merge a blank file, nothing. I’m a greenie, but I wanted you guys to know about this as soon as possible.

Word of Mod Note: The bolded part above indicates you don’t have the newest Mod Manager, which is actually .58 for Patch 10 compliance (the most recent Bioware Patch). Please obtain the newest Mod Manager by following the Instructions in this post. A further tutorial can be found here.

Whenever I patch mods through manager v0.58 on patch 10, the game will not load. Origin will run for a moment, and then the app will sit in my task manger, never opening. Removing the mod manger patch and going to a vanilla version loads the game. Happens no matter what mods I have installed, unless I just load it as a blank with only the official patch loaded.
Run both the game and the mod manger as admin, used compatibility manager, run Origin in admin mode, tried disabling mods, tried running as different users, pressed update on the suite loader repeatedly. Nothing works.
Word of Mod Note: You may need to either check the ‘Force rescan of Patch’ button or delete your patch.daimod folder. For further detail on how to do either of these steps, please refer to the DAI Mod Manager Troubleshooting Tips.

I can’t run any mods whatsoever in my game. I’m not entirely sure why, but I can’t even use the newest mods. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, even repaired it, but it only runs if I play it un-modded. I am admittedly reluctant to change the patch number, but I am going to try it relatively soon.
A clean mod patch works, but it refuses to work if even one mod is merged into the patch.
Word of Mod Note: There are two recommendations we would suggest. First, make sure that the antivirus on your computer is not blocking DAI from running (yes, it has actually happened)
Second, if this is the first time you have merged mods with Patch 10 (the latest patch released this past Thursday), make sure you click the ‘Force rescan of Patch’ in the lower right-hand corner of Mod Manager and attempt to merge the mods again.

Is Patch 10 available for Xbox One?
Hello to you all! Be warned that CE Banter Trigger doesn't work with Patch 10 as well as other tables.
Thank you for the report! It is what the Word of Mod suspected, but couldn’t verify themselves (since we are *cough* still on Patch 9).
So be warned! The Word of Mod will watch the normal location for an update to the CE Banter Trigger and post when/if the update is available.
Well, I’m supposed to be getting ready for work but instead I’m recolour the new outfits. *sigh* I just can’t stop, can I?
