this isn’t even a crit post because it realistically would never happen in yansim for various reasons but mostly for yandev’s thinly veiled discomfort w/ homosexuality but like. why isn’t raibaru the suitor for osana? seems like a very simple two birds one stone solution, right?
Noble Nagito falling in love with princess!reader?
Fantasy stuff like this is always fun, so I’m glad I could write this one~ ♡ ~Mod Megami
- The first time he sees you, it’s at a party. Nagito doesn’t like parties, nor does he like all the other nobles who frequent them. Putting it simply, they’re annoying and he wouldn’t be there if he didn’t have to be.
- He’s a bit caught off guard the second you enter the room, as the squire announces your presence. Everyone, and he means everyone, looks at you as you enter the room. Beautiful dress, beautiful face, the epitome of grace, you have everything.
- He wasn’t listening to the announcement of who you were, but he can definitely say you’re interesting. To have all of these people pay attention to you after hearing just your name? You’d have to be a person with bright, shining hope for that to happen.
- He asks Hinata who you are since Chiaki wouldn’t have been listening either.
- “She’s the princess.”“A Princess? From where?”“No, she’s the princess. As in, the princess of this country.”“Oh.”
- Well, how was he supposed to know? He’s never seen you before. He’d have liked to talk to you here and now, but the cluster of other nobles surrounding their princess makes it impossible for someone as well-disliked as Nagito to make it any closer. So, he gives up on that.
- Of course, he promises himself that he’ll watch for you from now on. After all, he needs to help the hopeful.
- The second time he sees you, it’s definitely not planned, not at all. He just so happened to be at the same park where you were visiting the children of the kingdom that day.
- (It wasn’t like he had learned your schedule using a little bit of luck, not at all!)
- It’s a very different setting this time, but you’re just as radiant. There are lots of guards around you, sure, but there are tons of kids too. They’re all asking to play or for you to tell stories and you’re smiling at them brightly, clearly enjoying your time with them.
- He doesn’t approach, instead watching to see what you’ll do. After a few stories, the kids eventually convince you to play tag. You’re it, of course, since there’s no way one of the kids wanted to be it if you were around.
- After a short count down, you’re dashing through the square, catching kid after kid. For a princess, you run faster than anyone would expect. The game is filled with laughter and it’s over quickly, especially since most of the kids couldn’t out run you. When it’s done, your perfect hair is out of place and you look a little disheveled due to all the moving around you had just done, but you look happy and so do the kids.
- You look beautiful, Nagito thinks, and that’s the second he knows he’s got it bad even though he hasn’t talked to you yet.
I DIDN’T UNTIL YOU SENT THIS AND THE ABSOLUTE GOONERY EXHIBITED IS TRAGIC. i had to watch it at 1.5 speed and i am going to LOSE MY NUTS.
in all seriousness, this just feels like a very pointed video where he not only reframes his past transgressions as “saying cringey things on the internet when he was younger” rather than actually addressing anything, and also the extremely choice move of portraying anyone who’s ever said anything mean about him as a gremlin. he’s not trying to make an honest attempt, he wants pity, and those who haven’t heard about any of the drama with him will inevitably pity him, because they don’t know any better.
or who knows, maybe i’m just one of those gremlins.
Such a cute idea, I’m happy I got to write it~ ~Mod Megami
“Byakuya, play with me!”
“Again?”
“Yeah! I have a new game this time, there’s no way you’ll beat me!” That, of course, was a lie. As the Ultimate Affluent Progeny, Byakuya always managed to surpass you in any game. That wasn’t to say that you weren’t good, no, far from it. Byakuya just so happened to be a quick learner, able to grasp the controls and correct maneuvers after only a few rounds. To this explain this, Byakuya often said that he was simply superior (not that you believed it).
“You always say that and I always end up beating you,” he replied, not even phased by your lame attempt at convincing you to play. “Besides, I have work to do, as you can clearly see.” At this, he gestured to a pile of papers that were sitting next to him.
“Yeah, but you haven’t played with me in forever!”
“I played with you yesterday.”
“Yeah, but it feels like it’s been forever.”
“That doesn’t change the fact that it’s only been one day.”
You sighed, almost ready to admit defeat when an idea popped into your head. “Fine, it’s not like it’d be any fun anyway. I’d just win like I always do.”
“What?” Byakuya looked up from his papers, an irritated look on his face.
“You heard me.”
“You say that like you win every time. We both know I win more than you do.”
“Sure, sure.” you agree with a wave of your hand. “We both know I’m better, though.”
“You must be joking.”
“Hey, unless I have some proof, nothing you say matters.” With that, you give him a shrug and began to set up the game. On the inside, however, you smirk. You’ve baited him, and rather well at that, so there’s no way he won’t play with you now!
Byakuya silently debated his options. He (obviously) knew you were trying to get him to play, and that you’d bother him to no end if he didn’t play so… With a sigh, he stood up from his chair.
“Fine, let’s play.”
“Yes! Oh, I mean… I suppose I’ll let you play, to see if you can beat me.”
With that, the two of you played to your heart’s content. Or, at least, until he started beating you every time and you got frustrated and quit.
(He gave you a kiss for every one of your losses to make up for them, so it turned out okay.)
This one isn’t posted anywhere else, so it’s the first time people get to really read it? Please enjoy~

“Shuichi!”
As you called his name, your blue-haired boyfriend turned to look at you.
“Yes?”
“Today’s the day!” you responded as you ran up to him with a wide grin on your face.
“The… day?” Shuichi wasn’t quite sure what day it was, he couldn’t remember you telling him anything. Unless you did, in which case he had forgotten, which meant he was a horrible boyfriend-
“Yep, today’s the day we do absolutely nothing together~!”
“Wh- oh. That’s right, that was supposed to be today... I’ve been so busy that I almost forgot.”
Now that you had explained, he did remember. Since the both of you had had tons of work to do in the past few days, there hadn’t been much time to meet up and do something. There hadn't been much time for to relax either, so you had suggested hanging out and doing nothing. Shuichi had become quite taken with the idea, so you had made plans to do it the next time you were both available.
“Then it’s a good thing I was able to remind you~!” you say, smiling at your boyfriend. “I’ll see you tonight then? My place?”
As Shuichi nods, you’re stuck with the urge to give him a kiss, so you do. The second your lips touch his cheek, his face turns a vibrant shade of red and your smile becomes wider.
“H-hey!” he exclaims, but you’re already gone, running off towards your next assignment.
“I’ll be seeing you, then~!” you call back, excited for the evening to come. You couldn't help your excitement, there were only a few more things left for you to do today. You could go home and get ready for your evening of fun soon and that made you super happy.
Looking at your retreating form, Shuichi began to smile. How you could be so energetic, he would never understand. Adjusting his hat on his head, he hurried to finish his tasks. It simply wouldn’t do to be late for your date later.
Hours later, you’ve already made it home and prepared everything for Shuichi’s arrival. Surveying your spread of snacks, movies and games, you’re already all hyped up for the evening.
The doorbell rings, prompting you to immediately run to the door. As soon as you’re sure it’s Shuichi at the door, you throw it open and engulf him with a hug.
“What is-”
“I missed you.”
“Ah.” He understands what you’re feeling all too well, so he doesn’t object. Instead, he wrapped his arms around you as well, hugging you to his chest.
After almost a minute of hugging in your doorway, you pull away, grabbing Shuichi’s hand. Pulling him inside, you spare a quick second to lock your door before dragging him to your living room. Seeing the spread of things on your table didn't surprise him too much, he knows how overboard you can go.
“So,” you exclaim, gesturing at all the things you left out, “What do you want to do first?”
The two of you spend tons of time playing games and talking about random things. Needless to say, you both enjoyed your time together and felt the tension of working for so long seep out of you. In fact, there was even a point where Shuichi found himself taking off his hat and setting it to the side. This told you just how relaxed and happy he currently felt, which made you even happier.
After you've used up most of your energy and Shuichi had started getting tired, you decided to start a movie. You sat on your couch, making yourself comfortable while Shuichi sat beside you. Together, you basked in each other’s warmth while watching the characters on the screen.
The two of you didn’t talk, instead preferring to pay attention to the movie. Still, it was no surprise when you began nodding off in the middle of the scene. It became harder and harder to focus on anything other than rest, so you dared to close your eyes for a moment. You drifted off to sleep rather quickly from there, although that was no surprise.
Looking down at your sleeping body, Shuichi could only smile. Careful not to wake you, he turned off the movie and closed his own eyes. Even as he let sleep claim him, he thanked the world for letting him be here with you today. He couldn’t be more thankful for all the things you do for him, this was the very least he could do, being here with you today.
