Ryo First Date Hcs

👑Asking you out was a simple affair. Ryo simply walked up to you and asked you out like it wasn’t that big of a deal. He’d said something along the lines of “you make me happy, and I want to make you happy too,” and promptly asked if you’d go out with him. The answer was, of course, yes.
👑When Ryo came to pick you up for said date, he’d kept you in the dark about what his plans were, but insisted that it would make you happy since it always made him feel that way, too. That left you confused, wondering what he had in mind, and what could possibly make him so happy and excited to show you.
👑To your surprise, he’d taken you somewhere away from the bustling lights of the city, and instead somewhere calmer and quiet. It was his special spot shown only to you, he claimed, far away from any light pollution or disturbances, where the stars could be viewed in their full beauty. It reminded Ryo of his home, claiming it was like he was taking you to meet his parents and get their approval.
👑Preemptively, a blanket was prepared atop a small hill. Ryo haphazardly grabbed your hand without even thinking twice and led you to the blanket, letting you go and plopping down as soon as the two of you were close enough. He’d lightly tap the small space next to you as an invitation to join him. Once you’re laid down next to him, he’s eagerly pointing up to the sky at the stars.
👑“Ah~, do you see that, (Y/N)?” he’d ask with a hand pointed toward a particularly bright star compared to the others in its constellation. “That star makes me the happiest- it brings back memories…” Excited, Ryo lowered his hand onto yours and lifted them together, his index finger directing your line of sight. “What does it make you feel? Are you… happy, when around me?”
👑He’d continue to lead your hand as he told you the name, meaning, and other history of other stars and constellations. Out of the corner of your eye, you would easily see a tranquil smile on his face, his eyes holding a twinkle that far outshone the stars he was so fixated on. No matter how long he talked for, or how little you knew of his home in space, his smile never faltered, and he never grew impatient or annoyed if you asked questions, instead turning to look at you with nothing short of pure happiness when answering them.
👑After some time, you realized how late it was getting. Neither of you wanted to cut your time together short but, given the busy and demanding schedule Nayuta gave Gyroaxia, you knew Ryo couldn’t wear himself out by staying out too late with you. He would walk home with you, the space between you two minimal, as he gently held your hand, not yet wanting to let go of you.
👑Ryo would only let go of your hand once you both had to finally part ways for good that night. Before either one of you made the first move to leave, he’d give a soft, chaste kiss to your cheek without a care in the world if it would be embarrassing for you or moving too fast because kisses were supposed to make Earthlings special, when they’re from someone special.
