So I just finished watching DreamWorks The Bad Guys and it totally gave me inspiration for an important part of my fanfic.
In it, my OC gets a mystic artifact called The Heart of Healing, but all I had figured out was that it was originally being auctioned off at a fancy shindig in the Hidden City, and that I wanted Leo and Michan (OC) to be involved.
After watching The Bad Guys, I realized it wasn't enough for just those two to be in on it. I wanted to try and write a full-blown heist with all the boys and maybe even April working with Michan to pull it off.
Michan, in a fancy dress talking to the guards:
"Excuse me, but can you and your friends help me find my necklace? I dropped it somewhere and my mother will kill me if I don't give it back to her."
Cue her leading the staff on a wild goose chase while the boys and April use their various cool ninja/tech/muscle/etc. skills to steal the artifact.
Best part? None of them know that Michan has a horrible mom and it's the biggest lie they've ever heard out of her.
Leo: "Your mother? Really?"
Michan: "Hey, I figured if I had to lie, I'd better go big or go home."
