Do you think you will be selling misprints if you receive any? Somehow I missed the preorder...
Hello, wrennotren1!
After all orders have been shipped, we will be selling any misprints and leftovers that we have. We cannot guarantee that we will have any leftovers/misprints, however we will post that sales information on both our tumblr and twitter when the time comes, either to announce the leftovers sale or to clarify that there is no stock available.
We’re sure you’ve all been curious as to who’s been shuffling around behind the doors of Music Room 3! So without further ado, we are very proud to finally present, the OHSHC Music Room 3 Mod Team!!
ABOUT || FAQ || SCHEDULE || TWITTER
First up, Mod Ary!
Ary is currently a moderator for the BNHA Myths zine and have contributed to other zines such as the Eat, Skate, Love, a YOI fanzine, and Sweet Girls, an original zine! Outside of the zine business, they have helped create and manage a small academic publication, do freelance editing, and was a former account manager (never again)!
I really hope you’re all as excited as we are for this zine! Although I’m not very musically adept (unlike the rest of our wonderful mods), I hope to bring our love for both OHSHC and music to you!!

Up next, the artistic Mod Link!
Mod Link also goes by Aaron! Currently a part of BNHA x Disney Zine, though relatively new at zines in general, he has a background in art, writing, graphic design, and of course music! Outside of the zine, he studies a film degree and occasionally makes RPGs. The Mod picture above was drawn by him. (Look at how wonderful it is!)
I’M SO READY, I love Ouran to pieces and even though there’s been no new content it’s so nice to see it holds a special place in so many people’s hearts. Not only am I excited to be working on an Ouran zine, I’m excited that this zine includes MUSIC!!!!

Last but far from least, the musical Nat20!
Nat20 is a music therapy student from Seattle (and an amazing musician in general)!! While she may be new to the production and administration side of the zine process, she’s very excited to get into it!
Ouran was the first manga and anime I was ever introduced to, and has been one of my favorites ever since. I love the story’s emphasis on relationships and chosen family, and the way that music and art plays such a large role in many of the characters’ identities. I am so excited to get to incorporate music into this zine, and create a place for artists in the community to collaborate!
for the artist application, are you guys looking out for background detail as well?
Hello there, anon!
We will be taking into account all aspects of the artwork examples our applicants submit. All art styles are welcome, and we would not ask anyone to compromise their personal style to try and fit into a certain aesthetic! Please submit examples that you believe best reflect your work.
Feel free to send us an ask with any additional questions!
should the people who’ve ordered digital be expecting an email any time soon? i still don’t really see why we need to wait as long as the people who’ve ordered the physical copy .-.
Hi Anon,
We will be sending out all digital copies at the same time in the form of an email to ensure fairness. You will not have to wait until all packages are received to receive your copy! We will send out digital copies during the same time we send out physical orders for shipping.
We understand that this wait for digital-only buyers can be frustrating, however we also want to create as equal of a distribution/shipping experience for everyone as possible. We will post an announcement to our twitter and tumblr when digital and physical orders have been shipped!
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any additional questions or concerns!
We have not yet reached our first stretch goal! With about 3 weeks left of our store being open, we highly recommend everyone submits their orders as soon as they are able, so that we can reveal our stretch goal merch!
hiya! im a bit confused as to what the music tracks are? since in the PO post it says “access to”, is it digital?
Hello, Anon!
Yes, our music tracks are original audio files that can be listened to/downloaded from our Bandcamp page, which will be accessible via a private link included with your purchase. We will send out the link via email, along with the PDF zine file. Please note that the Andante Bundle (merch only) will not be eligible for access to our music tracks.
Hello! This blog was sugguested to me while I was scrolling through my dashboard. And I was wondering, what exactly is all this? I tried looking through your "about" and "faq" links, but I could not find any actual information as to what this entire project is.
Hello, Anon!
Thank you so much for your interest! ‘Music Room 3′ is a fanzine (fan magazine), which is a printed collection of original artwork, written compositions, and in our case, printed music compositions, all created by fans of a certain piece of media.
We created this zine because of our love for Ouran, and especially how music is used as a vehicle for character growth and expression throughout the manga and anime. So, our zine will feature music-themed art, stories, and music based around the Ouran characters.
On October 19th, we will announce the opening of our preorders, where anyone who would like to purchase a physical or digital copy of the zine, and/or our merchandise (also fan-created), can do so!
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, thank you for reaching out!
Hey! I just have a few questions: 1) Will there be partitions in the zine? 2) Will there be comics in the zine? 3) Will the zine include manga only characters? Thank you!
Hello, Anon!
1. There will not be set partitions in the zine! We’re focusing more on the visual flow of the zine than organizing by theme/character.
2. There are no comics in the zine, but we have multiple collaborative works between writers and artists!
3. The zine does not include any works that focus on manga-only characters. So, no worries about spoilers or feeling out of the loop!
Thank you for your questions, please feel free to message us if you have any follow ups!
