Hi mods~ I was wondering if you were going to reference every ff about DN available on ff net and ao3? Only in English? Can we suggest fanfictions we eventually find? (Sorry if any of these has been answered, I can't access anything on mobile. orz )
We’re going to try to recommend as many good fanfics as possible, from wherever! fanfiction.net, ao3, deviantart, livejournal, here on tumblr… wherever there are fics to find!
It might take a while to go through them of course–we’re only posting one a day so we don’t run out, but going through “every” fanfic is the goal. We won’t be recommending all fanfics though–to be quite frank, not every fanfic is the best quality, so we’re not only recommending fics for the sake of numbers. We’re certainly going for the most enjoyable, heart-wrenching, and true-to-source (that is, in-character) fanfics too.
We wouldn’t recommend a fic we ourselves (or our contributors, like you!) wouldn’t read. That’s why we’re working so hard to not only organize the fics, but give good reviews in the notes on each rec.
Of course, we mainly speak English, so that’s what we read and rec. Though if you (or any fans) happen to speak another language and wants to rec a fic in that language, feel free–our submit is always open for that purpose! I know there are quite a few Spanish and French fics, though with the inability to read them we can’t accurately judge them and properly recommend them.
And to answer your last question, of course you can submit fics you find! The FAQ has more info on that, and the submit page has a standard form you can use too. Even if we the mods seem like we’re the only ones posting at the moment, that might be because we’re just starting out right now–the blog isn’t specifically restricted to just us! We want other DNAngel fans to participate too! So don’t be afraid to send in recs even if if might have already been posted–the more reviews a reader has to go by, the more reasons they’ll have to go read a fic! So go wild \^o^/
