EriSol week moving forward

Hello, everyone! Mod Pencil with an update, I'll detail here how this event will work from this point on.

First of all, I apologize for being unable to bring the 2025 edition of EriSol week. With the years I've come to have increased responsibilities in my personal life, and I decided to distance myself from the overall Homestuck fandom for a while too. My interest has slowly returned, but this never affected my intention to run this event and others. I am ready to return and prepare more events for every Eridan and Sollux fan.

This bring us to the important part, the future of EriSol Week.

I've been approached by other erisol fans who also want to keep this event going. They will help me bring the event back to life, turning it into a collaborative project. Soon there will be news, and I hope you'll be there to see it. I'd like to shoutout Mod Makku, who whill help me with posting from now on.

I'm very excited for the event, we keep going, erisolheads!

I've been planning on doing a fantasy-detective campaign and I've been unsure what system to use? I was thinking maybe the fate core system because the attributes and everything could make it real interesting?

Fate would be a good one, I’d also look into World of Darkness, as it has various expansions for things like vampires, fae, and werewolves if you want some guidance for the supernatural element

Mod PaperGumshoe is a system specifically dedicated for detective games, so that might be worth looking into as well. Night’s Black Agents and Trail of Cthulhu are both settings using it that involve the supernatural (Vampires and, well, Cthulhus respectively)Mod Pencil

It's November!

In less than two weeks it will finally be time to dedicate some creativity to a very special pair. Here's some info straight from the about page:

We encourage all sorts of media to integrate the event: Art, Fan fiction, Games, Music, Animations, Edits, and more.

To participate you must simply follow the prompts given and tag each piece for each day with #erisolweek or #erisol week. This blog will reblog and compile everyone’s work here. Mentioning @erisolweek in your post works just the same.

All levels of skill and effort are welcome, what's important is to have fun!! The more people, the better.
