hi! do you think scenarios with OC’s are better on drawn form or written form? when I mean drawn, I mean like animation/animatic. I just wanted an opinion?? this probably seems like a weird anon ask sorry,,,

All kinds of mediums are good for Oc’s. If you’re good at art and not so good with words then art is the answer. If you’re better at writing and not so good at art then words are the answer. Nothing is inherently better than the other, just better for you.

Have you made a self insert oc before? How does one best go about doing that?

(I’m gonna assume this is a question for the person who runs the blog and not as a prompt. If I’m wrong lemme know)

To be real (and a little sad) I was waist-deep in the “mary-sues and self-inserts are for bad writers” mindset for a long time when I first started writing. Now that I’ve gotten older I’ve taken on the mentality that as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone there’s nothing wrong with self-insert ocs.

Personally the only times I’ve made self-inserts is for video games. Skyrim, Stardew Valley, Starbound, and other games where the protag is a blank slate is where I make self-inserts. 

I’m probably not the best person to ask about self-inserts but personally, I don’t see any case where you can’t make one of your own. It could be an idealized version of yourself, an OC that’s a lot like you, or just you in the setting that you like. Make yourself a hero, make yourself a love interest of the main character, there’s nothing you can’t do when you’re the one writing.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but how many Mods are there in this blog??

I lost count but I think ive spoken to about seven other people whonare active mods. My guess is ten? Either way, we need more...

Is it okay to ask to be a mod even when you have school as well? I have a lot of free time, and I could always answer questions and concerns after school as much as you want me to. ~Bee anon

This is a lovely idea for a blog to help other users! Hell, even I still have problems coming up with prompts myself. uv u I hope you get to help lots of people and I'm sure they'll appreciate this plenty! I might even pop in with a question every so often myself. Good luck, sweetie! <3

Terribly sorry to bother you during the hiatus, but--

I submitted something a week or so before the hiatus started-- it focused on issues in a polyamorous relationship with two young men referred to as A and C?-- and I just wanted to let you know that everything's been resolved, and unless it's already queued you don't need to further burden your writers with it >~< Again, I'm really sorry to abuse the submit box still being open, but I want you all to be able to focus on helping the people who actually still need help. Thank you for your time and dedication.

We have plenty of old(er) asks, and yours is definitely one of them. Your timing to send this in was actually perfect, as it likely would have been given to a writer tonight. So if anything, there's a double benefit! :D

And hush, there's no need to be sorry! That's what the submit box is open for, of course. ((Aside from auditions, naturally! uvu)) I'm sorry we couldn't reach your ask in time, but I can say I'm happy that it's at least resolved!
