Figli (1987) Honestly this song is a musical masterpiece like fuck that part in the second verse where the music cuts out and it's just him and the choir?? Absolutely holy experience, 10/10
Voglio andare Vivere in Campagna (1995) Forgot to add this one earlier because I'm an idiot but man this song's amazing, it just keeps getting better and better and BETTER
Le Mamme (1989) This is just what comes to mind when I think of the word "sublime" it's just beautiful
Gli Amore (1990) I wonder if he'd have won Eurovision if he'd entered this song...? Either way, it's a dramatic 90s rock ballad, right up my street anyway
L'italiano/Serenata (1983/84) Man really did a "can I copy your homework?" with his own discography. They're still fun songs but they just don't feel up to the standard of the others, yanno? I mean I guess I KINDA prefer Serenata, but I'd feel guilty since it's so similar to L'italiano 😅
Emozioni (1988) I mean it's beautiful don't get me wrong, but man why does it sound so fucking SAD?
Solo noi (1980) I mean... it's an amazing flex of his vocal strength but the lyrics are kinda 🤨, and I honestly don't think he performed it well at all. I don't even think he likes it much either, according to an interview I found.
