Big Bandit: I could kill you if I wanted to, sister.
Rebel: Yeah? So could another bandit.
Big Bandit:
Rebel: So could a scorpion.
Big Bandit:
Rebel: So could a dedicated worm.
Big Bandit:
Rebel: You aren't special, brother.

Transcribing Pretend Wizards
Welcome to PW Scripts! We’re a small team of fans dedicated to transcribing the D&D 5e real play podcast known as Pretend Wizards. First created in early 2014, the PW Crew has dedicated their time and energy to giving fans weekly content filled with fun and laughter. As a result, they have a backlog of nearly 200 episodes!
Such a long-running podcast starts to run into problems though when it’s a continuous D&D campaign and sometimes information gets lost and slips the creators’ minds. While there is a fan run wiki, it’s not nearly detailed enough to be a consistent tool to fans and players alike. One of the goals in transcribing PW will be to create a reliable source of information that can be referenced easily, unlike our previous methods of trying to pinpoint a moment in a specific episode.
Secondly, podcasts are notoriously inaccessible to certain groups of people due to their audio-only nature. Transcribing Pretend Wizards will also allow the crew and fans to share this amazing podcast with those who may not otherwise be able to get into it—those who are deaf, hard of hearing, have audio processing disorders, or otherwise may typically be unable to consume audio-based media will now have a way to join the fun of Pretend Wizards.
We invite fans and crew of Pretend Wizards to join us in the arduous task of transcribing around 200 episodes of audio! Visit our blog @pw-scripts to find ways you can help.
If you have any feedback for us in regards to visual accessibility (processing issues, vision disabilities, etc), then please feel free to approach us with it!

Meet the Mods!
Hi, I’m Mod Catmiint and I consider myself to have been a huge driving force in the fandom since early 2016! I originally conceptualized and created the PW Skype Group—now migrated to Discord—and have worked hard to bring to life the 31 Days of PW events. I draw and write a lot for PW and you might have heard me mentioned on the podcast a few times, especially for that fanfic they read aloud! Find me @catmiint and running @imaginarysorcerers
Nice to meet you, Tumblr, I’m Mod Rebel! You already know me as @rebel-zephyr , but that’s not the point. The point is that I’m here to help transcribe the monumental D&D 5e live-play podcast Pretend Wizards. I’m a huge fan, a Discord member, and I would try and do more for the fandom, but I’m always busy with school, as one of the fandom’s Certified Babbies. I’m gonna try and do my part and pour my metaphorical blood, sweat and tears into this transcript(if my parent’s don’t catch me first) and it’s great to not be alone in this huge project. Please, we always need more help! (Also, when Ron used Cherry in the Pit, I prompted that. I have the reciepts.)(he/him)
I’m Mod Hoopy! I’ve been listening to Pretend Wizards since 2015. I don’t get much involved in the day to day operation of this blog, or really anything else in the fandom. My major role here is in building tools, in the form of PodScripts (which isn’t quire ready for the prime time yet). Otherwise I make some, mostly silly, little programs for the fandom. You can find me at @hoopyfroody
I’m thinking about leaving this blog so I don’t know how active this blog will be in the future. I’m sorry.
It’s just that I’ve switched accounts a lot because #drama and I have a few other blogs on this account so it’s getting cluttered and confusing. Basically I think it’s time for me to move on from this blog.
Rogue: So, I heard you like bad boys.
Rebel: Not really.
Rogue: Oh thank god.
Rogue: Synchronize your watches.
Fish: I don’t know how to do that.
Steroids: I don’t wear a watch.
Eyes: Time is a social construct.
IDPD Captain: Would you date a man that’s shorter than you?
Rogue: No.
IDPD Captain: That’s kinda shallow.
Rogue: I’m gay, Captain.
IDPD: I’m not talking.
Fish, sharpening a knife: We’ve got ways of making you talk. *cuts a slice of cake*
IDPD: Can I have some?
Fish: Cake is for talkers.
Big Bandit: I drew my fursona: Big Dog.
Rebel: Are you alright with constructive criticism? I don’t want to sound mean.
Big Bandit: No, go ahead, I want to hear it.
Rebel: It fucking sucks.
Big Bandit: That’s not constructive criticism.
