Your fave, Reagan, likes Weirdcore!
hello everyone! sorry I'm not very active. just checking in because it's been a hard year. seasonal depression is setting in, and holiday-centric anxiety might be a problem.
so tell me about something cool that happened to you this year!
I used to be more of a “just wing it” kind of roleplayer, but in the past few months I’ve felt a DEFINITE preference shift towards plotting. 9 times out of 10 when I do a thread WITHOUT any plotting it turns into boring filler after just a few replies. But when I DO actually plot with my partners, even just a little bit, that risk is reduced significantly. I really wish more of my RP partners liked to plot, because I feel like it helps my threads maintain their fun and interest a lot better!
As a person who adores plotting, same honestly! When you don’t plot at all it gets,,, really boring really quick. - Mod Rex

As someone who IS familiar with the SCP Foundation universe, let me clarify something for the mods: if SCP 231-7 gives birth, the world will literally end. Traumatizing her keeps her from giving birth, because of how cult magic works in-universe. So there IS morality there (and an Ethics Committee in-universe at the Foundation) and the decision was made that this, while bad, was better than letting the world end. It makes sense in context.
Or, hear me out, you could kill her instead of torturing her repeatedly. Which is the more moral decision. And also prevents the universe from being destroyed.
Like have you ever heard of the concept of a mercy kill? Because that would be what this is.
Also, you're incorrect! SCP 231-7 gives birth to SCP 999, who has the power to destroy its evil father who wanted to destroy the world, is not evil, and doesn't destroy the world! So all that repeated torture was unnecessary and actually directly counterproductive. And incidentally, proven even more immoral than the alternative of just mercy killing her instead of subjecting her to torture under the guise of saving the world when killing her would have worked just as well.
Edited :) This doesn't change my first point
I made a post a while ago about how controlling people isn’t the same thing as activism and the antis found it and I-
How do y’all not realize this is about you?? 😭😭
