But I will say this, rpers that use canonical copyrighted characters as self inserts (not coming from a system) that takes everything that's meant ic *seriously* irl and personally, is insanely toxic. You shouldn't be role-playing if you can't tell when there's a line between you, and the character

There's someone in my fandom who I had a falling out with over a disagreement. They went and vague-posted about me after soft-blocking me. I tried to fix it but they insisted I hard-block them and we go our separate ways, all over a disagreement that could have easily been talked about or they could just learn to agree to disagree, but now I can't even stomach to look at the fandom I loved so much without thinking of them and what they said about me. How do you get over something like that?

To a person that put me in a really weird situation some time ago. For as long as I can remember, I've had the worst luck when it comes to OCs. And when I say the Worst, I mean The Worst. I've come across quite a few writing a canon like I have for the past 5 years. I don't know what it is either. The character I play? My info pages? Me? I can't figure it out, but it's like I'm a magnet for both mean muses AND muns. It's unfortuate, because I've met some real good ones too, but I'm legit getting to the point where I don't want anything to do with them anymore.

The Undertale / Deltarune community on Tumblr is pretty toxic despite the 'optimistic, friendly' atmosphere and community it tries to keep. I don't know about you, chief, but everything will seem off after spending a few weeks there. My old partner who roleplayed with me there tried getting me to smut with him as a minor, threw a fit when I wouldn't apologize to his adult friend because I said he made me uncomfortable, and much more. He got away with it. Fuck you.

I hate it with people who get really upset when you accidenlty reblog something and try to genuinely apologise on the situation, but they just to mad on the situation, oh also those mutuals only kind blogs and trying to be all casual talking with them but the whole thing goes south.

Sjhsjs I’m complaining quite a bit today. I told her that I’m uncomfortable rping with her group and she says that’s fine, and says she hopes she can still talk to me. I say sure, but warn her that all I really do is vent. I warned her of this. She said that’s fine. I don’t talk to her for a while (which is pretty rude but oh well) and ask her if she can spare some time to help me with some issues I’ve had. She says that “this really shows my true character” and that “she was done here” 1/2

I say that’s fine and that I understand, yea? She then says “she misses me” and “she’d like to talk again” I tell her it’ll really just still be infrequent venting. I don’t do much else but that. She says that’s fine. I return about a week later with my new girlfriend, suddenly feeling happy again and telling her I want to rp some more. She says “will you still talk to me? Tell me the truth. Will you only rp with her?” I say, truthfully, “yes. I’ll only rp when she’s on.” She then blocked me 2/2

I hate romance roleplays that's all rainbows and sunshines that look like they're straight out of a cheap romance novel. You threw my ideas for a more realistic approach to romance like conflict, happiness, sadness etc. Why even bother wanting to write with me if I don't want to write the same stories we wrote two years ago over and over again? I'm tired of the rainbows and sunshine things and wanting to do stories that are real and make characters that are realistic and have gray morals.
