I, Mod Seymour, must sincerely apologize for the delay in sending the application results and their confirmation. Though I’d like to say it was technical difficulties, it was closer to human error than anything else and emails ended up being sent a little later in the night instead. For that, I humbly apologize for my inexperience.

The talent and creativity expressed in our auditions was phenomenal, and we appreciated every single application. Though we can’t accept everyone, we want to bolster that creative spirit! To that effect, we will be offering feedback to all rejected applicants. 

If feedback is something you wish for, please email us back before Friday, March 13th 11:59pm, UTC-12. After that, we will no longer be accepting requests for feedback.

The pieces I have together are over the word limit, but not by a lot. Is that okay?

Hi Anon!

Ideally, we would like your combined word count to total no more than 9k. However, we will allow for a leeway of up to 100 words. This isn’t particularly recommended, but it is up to your discretion. Would a story benefit by trimming down unnecessary fluff? Or would it hurt the narrative? What would best enhance your application? I hope this helps; our asks are always open if more clarification is needed.

Hi! What kinds of musicals would you guys be inckuding in terms of Broadway types or movies (like maybe the greatest showman?)

Hi Anon!

Thanks for asking! We actually have a list of about 80+ popular musicals including The Greatest Showman, as well as other movie musicals like La La Land and High School Musical. It’s there as a guideline in case contributors need prompting, and by no means a complete list contributors can choose from. I certainly didn’t remember all the musicals people have been suggesting, so that list keeps growing. It will most likely be released once our interest check closes; look forward to it!

Of course! A person can apply to multiple positions, but will ultimately only be selected for one. If you do have a preference, feel free to specify in the Questions/Comments/Concerns section that will be located at the end of the application.

As to your latter comment, unfortunately we did not have enough interest garnered in that regard, so The Directors decided it was best not to include singers/lyricists in the applications. We do thank you for the suggestion!

EDD: we met in high school, we all took the same art class together! i think matt and tord were friends before that, but thats where i met them all
