What are everyone's favorite flowers? And tell me some good things that happened with everyone's days! I'd love to hear!

Edd: Oh! Well I personally really like the smell of lilacs, but I love this certain type of flower, its like a ton of tiny bells, that feel really good, and smell heavenly. Hmm, nothing especially eventful happened though I did make a good joke without stuttering or laughing before the punchline, that was a good thing I guess? Am I oversharing? Yeah I’m probably oversharing. Haha…

Matt: I really like orchids and tulips! They come in so many colors it’s amazing! And I’ve had a good day today. I found a new toy for my collection!

Tom: Hydrangeas are pretty cool to me and my day’s been pretty mediocre ,nothing especially exciting.

Hey, Matt. Since you like chewing things, how does gum suit you as a stim?

Matt: I actually don’t chew gum to stim. It’s kinda just like chewing food and thats not really a stim for me.

It’s kinda hard to explain but I prefer to chew on harder things and more with like … my front teeth if that make sense.

if any of you stim, what way is the best for you and/or your favorite? any objects you have that make you feel safer than others?

MATT: my favourite way to stim is chewing on things! ive got this cute necklace with a rubbery type pendant on it for that type of stuff, it comes in really handy sometimes! when i dont have it with me i often end up chewing on the drawstrings of my hoodie.

EDD: oh oh!!! im so glad you asked that, this is one of my favourite stories to tell!

EDD: we met in high school, we all took the same art class together! i think matt and tord were friends before that, but thats where i met them all

This blog is definitely better than the aSyLuM xD type garbo blogs and I am very glad but, I am curious, may I ask what the point is in assigning neurodivergent labels to fictional characters? This is not meant in a mean spirited way but, being another neurodivergent person myself, I have never really seen the fun in doing so, which is why I ask.

((the point is to try to combat the idea that neurotypical is the default. nd people want to see themselves in their favourite characters just as anyone else would. its all a matter of representation. -mod seymour))

Hey, I'm on mobile, and while Google is a good source, I prefer the definition from the creators because of multiple reasons. Is it okay if you just explain what neurodivergent is?

((neurodivergent is essentially a more inclusive way to refer to anyone who is mentally ill, disordered, or disabled. the reason we dont just say mentally ill is because this blog has autistic characters and its considered offensive to classify autism as an illness (the official classification is developmental disability)

Oh gosh, I'm going to sound terrible and dumb while asking this but uh-do you have to be medically and officially reported as the neurodivergent area you would like to mod your character as? Like, say one is pretty sure they have something such as ADHD but medically has never been stated to be that way, would they be able to apply to mod for a character that has ADHD?
