*dramatically kicks down the door with a hangry awoo*
i need the meatiest, chewiest, heartiest, most carnivorous winter foods a ravenous australian were-creature can get, but also with more vegetables or meat-substitutes in them to balance out my diet nutritionally, please?
i like fish and red meats mostly, with kangaroo being a favourite easily-available mince, as well as things like beef and lamb. chicken and pork is okay but not my usual go-to, and i can't get rabbit or venison easily in this country either.
nothing too spicy please, and I'm not a big fan of organs (no hearts, tongues, kidneys, liver etc). pastas (lasagna my beloved), cheeses, mushrooms, potatoes and roast veggies are also good. big fan of mediterranean foods in general, looking to try more middle eastern foods as a whole too. not a big fan of red onion though.
in terms of cooking equipment i live in a small space and only have a gas stove, mini-oven, microwave, slow cooker and electric fry pan. can occasionally try putting things in a cast iron pot or wrapped in foil in the fireplace as well.
also kind of curious to try more fruit + nut + meat combos as well, but i can't have grapefruit for medication reasons. anything with australian native bush foods (eg. macadamia nut) would also be appreciated but isn’t a requirement.
hopefully this message isn't too long and specific so i'll cut it off here, but thank you!
(okay to tag as dingo therian, too)
Oh wow that's a lot. Part of me appreciates it and the other part is forcing me to apologize right now if I'm hella off because that's a lot and I have AuDHD so I may forget parts.
Good Old Meat Pie
Lamb and Winter Vegetable Stew
Walnut-Crusted Chicken Breast
Persimmon, Pomegranate, and Massaged Kale Salad
Fennel Soup (probably could add stuff to it?)
Tofu Broccoli Stir-Fry
I hope you enjoy, regardless of accuracy!
