Have you been playing PQ2 by any chance?
I started playing yesterday. The season has kept me pretty busy. But the first proper posts should come soon.

Will the Guideline restriction about asking mixed dead-living questions be changed now that Persona Q is in the mix, so that somebody could (hypothetically) address a question to Shinjiro and Kanji circa PQ?
Of course, if it's set during PQ, addressing them together is perfectly legit!

Hi there... I just wanted to tell you how much the Christmas Corner meant to me. This season has been incredibly tough on me, to the point where I can't even play my games due to being so unwell. One of those games is Persona Q, so when I saw you were having Zen and Rei one night, I just had to send Rei those cookies. The response was everything I could have hoped for and more, and was the highlight of my week. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for writing this blog, and Happy New Year!
Dear Barbako,
I don't know why the season has a bad connotation to you, but regardless why that is, I am glad I contributed to making it a little brighter. It really is a season to share light, and nobody deserves to feel unhappy especially that time of the year. So I'm happy I could brighten up your day a little. I hope your coming year will be bright in every respect!
With Greetings,
Temperance Mod
I tried my best to bring you the two Christmas Corner Posts I promised today, but real life got in the way and while I managed to write most of the Day 12 post, I am so utterly tired now that I feel incredibly dissatisfied with how it is turning out and do not want to post it this way. It will stay drafted for now and, while ambitious, I am aiming to bring you all 3 missing posts tomorrow and hope to be able to do so.
Please don't send anymore submissions for Fortune or Justice, those are over-saturated to the point I have trouble fitting everything in. Getting some more letters for Hanged Man would be useful though. There is no specified topic for that day.
Many apologies for all the delays.

Can I ask why you stopped tagging Minato Arisato? ((just wondering))
Mostly because the tagging system is supposed to make it easier to find letters involving certain characters on the blog and using two separate tags for the same character just over-complicates thing, especially seeing how I write the character the same, regardless of used name in the letter.

Just a random thing I've noticed by playing through Persona 4: I think Mooroka cares for his students. For example, a girl was called out of class to talk to him, but all he did was give her candy and talked about the future. Apparently, some other NPCs talk about that, so...just saying.
That may be true, but it seems he was mostly kind to girls and probably not for the right reasons. There were surely some sadly unexplored hidden depths with that character - if I know anything, it's that Persona Games love to hide these even with minor characters - but that doesn't change that the way he treated his students generally was less than admirable. I will still keep the fact that he's not the worst person *ever* on my mind for future letters, though.

I got a little carried away...
I said I would only be answering to 10 letters, now I just finished the 20ths. I have been at this for nearly 10 hours now, too, so I really need to call stops now.
I will reply to a few more, selected (this time for real) of the remaining letters in the Halloween Submissions, but then throw out the rest. I'm sorry, but by now, there's so much in there, I'd need *two* Halloweens to answer to them all! I thank you all very much for your participation regardless! The letters I received were all very inspiring and awesome!
The Halloween Submissions, as well as the regular Submission Box are now CLOSED. I will reopen submissions in the near future, once I've figured out how to change the blog rules and what to do with the tons of unanswered letters (More than 520 at this point) in the regular Submission Box. In the meantime, I opened up a regular Ask-Box. Please do NOT use the Ask to try and Submit letters to characters, they will not be answered. Use them only to contact the Mod (=Me.)
Now, I am going to reveal a secret:
Today was sort of a test run to see where the limits are. Now that I have seen the results, I can act on them.
I noticed people responded well to the P2-themed and the one P4U2-themed letters, so as soon as I have finished reworking and revamping everything here, the Submission Box will likely be permanently be opened for these kinds of letters. The response to the one PQ-themed letter was more lukewarm, which is not surprising, given the game is not out yet, so the block on letters about that game will remain upheld for a few more months.
There was also a really good response to the more creative aspects of it, like the Crimson-Room theme-ing and Junpei and Yukiko's Ghost Stories, so I know I can keep going with stuff like this whenever it fits.
That said, I really had a blast answering your letters today, and I hope you are enjoying reading the answers just as much as I enjoy writing them! See you again with more letters in the near future!

This is probably a good moment to make a couple of things clear:
I am a University Student in the process of trying to finish up her Bachelor's Degree and doing work ahead of time for her Master's Degree.
I have also been suffering from pretty bad anxiety issues for most of this year now, and while I'd not like to elaborate on them, I assure you that they're enough to often put me into a mood that does *not* make me want to write out silly banter between an army of super-powered teens and young adults.
The one Askblog I know who's kept a consistent queue without ever going on hiatus is Ask Ace Attorney (which is amazing and they're my idol, btw). Unlike Ask Ace Attorney, however, I try to make my responses much longer and deeper, some of them already ranging on being Mini-Fanfictions. As a result, they can take anywhere between 10-60 minutes to type out. In the worst cases, I have worked two hours (!!) on the same letter. On average, I tend to take 20 minutes for a letter. This means in an hour, I can get 3 done. Which brings me to the next point...
I am doing this in my spare time. It's a hobby, not a job. Meaning that I have to put aside time of my day to get to this. In a day, I need to do dishes, do laundry, do a lot of other cleaning, cooking, study for my courses, and that's not taking into account the fact that I am very, very easily distracted. I take two hours a day to commute to and back from my university. I have a cousin and siblings who I'd like to spend time with. Basically: I have a life which takes priority to me.
I really, really love writing letter replies for Ask Persona. It's an amazing feeling. I also love translating. And writing fanfiction. And chatting with friends about the stuff I am writing. And drawing. And writing up fan-theories. And actually playing the games. So basically: There's a whole lot of other fanwork I can be doing a day and sometimes, I just have to pick what I want to do today. As I mentioned above, even one letter can take 2 hours out of my day in the worst case scenario. I can't do *everything* the same day and I need to vary up what I am going to do when. Especially because it's this variation that allows for my letters to stay fresh in first place. If I ended up getting bored, the quality would drop very, very quickly. The Clubbook Translations? I would have done them, even if I didn't post them here. I would just have posted them on my personal instead. The reason I decided to post them here is because I didn't want to leave you guys hang entirely without content while I am busy doing these translations. So, there's that.
I am not going to give up on this blog anytime soon. That is the most important point of all. Despite how time-consuming keeping this blog is and the fact that I am the only active Mod on it, I love every single bit of work I have put into replying to these letters and leaving it behind would leave a hole in my life. I'm keeping at it. Just be patient with me, guys. There is tons of old content on the blog that you can always go and revisit if I fail to deliver new content for a while. But new letters are coming. Just trust me there.
Seriously, I love you all for being so supportive and for enjoying what I am doing, just know that, OK? I know I can be slow, but sometimes, I just really need that to stay inspired! I hope you can understand that!
