Richter looked at the floor. The marble floor still glistening even after the years have passed for the city.
"Were you ever planning to tell me?" Chevalier's voice was a whisper. Richter forced himself to look at him. He was an emissary of Ishmael.
"You weren't supposed to know."
"Hah!" Chevalier laughed in disbelief. His eyes glistened in the light, gritting his teeth as he stared at him. "I wasn't supposed to know? That you were just going to stay here? Forever?"
Chevalier had heard from Hernia that Richter was going to stay in Elrianode to protect the El. He wasn't planning to go with them to the demon realm. He didn't even tell him, his own- whatever they are.
"I have a duty to protect the El-"
"I know that! You told me from the start that you were a priest. I know that but why didn't you tell me about this? Why did I have to learn from the others?" Richter's hands slowly tightened to a fist beside him as Chevalier grew more dishevelled, running a hand through his hair. The man chuckled weakly, "I thought you cared for us, Richter. I would have understood. You know that, right?"
Chevalier looked at him with a weak smile. Richter pursed his lips and didn't say anything. His smile dropped to a frown, eyes widening before he looked away, his expression turning to a stone.
"I think we should take some time for ourselves," Chevalier said, looking back towards him with a barely calm expression. Richter's hands itched to hold him in his hands, "We still have some time before we leave the city. I'll... talk to you before that."
"Okay." Richter said. Chevalier gave him a bitter smile as he turned and walked away.
Can we have Chung go from iron paladin and falling further and further until he becomes fatal phantom please ???
Chung ran across the field, panting and heaving as he rushed to keep up with the barrage of attacks his own friends unleashed against the demons. He still had his Destroyer and it helped him reach high platforms but if he was even a little slow with it, there would be no more demons for him to destroy. He grit his teeth, watching as his friends made quick work of the battle. Was there this much gap between him and his friends like this back in Hamel?
He shook his head, landing on the ground besides them as they opened the door. They saw Sdeing, Steel’s father on the other side of the door. The image overlapped with his own father who they last saw in the Temple of Trials.“Wonder Wall!” He shouted, calling forth a shield for his friends. It would at least protect them from the full impact of Sdeing’s hammer. Instead, he was struck with an odd sense of unease. Looking at them, they all fiercely attacked Sdeing, only evading his attacks when need be. His shield protected them from time to time but that wasn’t what they needed. What they needed was more power.“Chung, don’t just stand there! Be careful!” Elsword shouted at him as he ran to his side. Chung snapped out of his thoughts, “Right!”The battle against Sdeing was short-lived but it still didn’t give them too much trouble. Chung thought of how he wanted to protect his friends, to protect the innocent, but would that be enough? He looked up at the backs of his friends who grew farther as they walked their own ways in the village. He already had enough power using his Destroyer, maybe something more?-
The thoughts of a stronger weapon went in the back of Chung’s mind as they entered Elysion. There was no time to think about to master a weapon. Even if he suffered. Even if the weight of the destroyer grew heavy in his hands and his guardian stone grew dimmer with the weight of his resolve weakening, he paid it no mind. Even like this, he still had to try his best to protect his friends. Even if he was falling behind, even if he had to work harder and taste the tears of frustration each time they returned to the town after a day’s battle.“Chung.” Chung lifted his head to watch Elesis sit down beside him.“Elesis, is there something wrong?” He asked, his voice breathy. Elesis looked at the distance.
“The others has been worried, you know. You’ve been growing more and more exhausted after each and every battle.” Chung looked away to the side, ashamed that his friends would have to worry about him in addition to what they needed to do.
“I’m sorry, I… I’m just trying to sort some thoughts out.” Elesis was silent for a few seconds before she stood up.
“I won’t pry,” she said, “but know that we’re here for you no matter what Chung. No matter what.”
“I know.” Chung whispered, tears prickling in his eyes. He heard her footsteps as she left him.
He took a deep, shaky breath. What was wrong with him? He couldn’t just let this get to him. Although he did say to himself, he didn’t move from his place for a good hour and when he had to leave, the weight still remained.
-
“Where am I…? Is anyone there?!” Chung muttered to himself as he looked around. A white figure emerged in front of him and for a moment he saw himself. Chung steadied the Destroyer as the specter spoke.“Don’t go another step, Seiker.”Chung’s grip on his weapon tightened, “This is… my voice! How can…?”
The specter’s voice continued, feeding continuously to his mind as it charged at him.
“What are you doing here? You need to save your father.” The weight of the specter’s own weapon was heavy against his own.
“You should understand that they don’t need you anymore.” It continued.
“Compared to them, you’re weak. You’re slow.” Chung flinched, as the specter pushed forward against his own.
“What use do they have of you?”
Chung gritted his teeth, pushing back, “They’re my friends!”
“I will not abandon them!” He continued. The guardian stone glowed bright, compared to the dim light that it held the past few months. “It’s true that I felt like I was holding them back and I know that! They all want to finish the battles as soon as possible. I can’t fault them for that!”
“I just…” Chung took a heavy breath, his hands shaking from effort. “I just need to protect them better. If they’re fast, then I just need to be fast. If I’m weak, then I just need to get stronger. I can’t give up. I can’t give up now!”The guardian stone glowed bright, almost blinding as Chung shut his eyes and took the chance to leap back, firing a cannon ball blindly. Except his grip fumbled, he thought, as the cannon was lighter than it was. He still felt the pressure against his hand. It’s just… weaker. As the light died down, what he saw in his hands was a sleeker version of his destroyer, alongside with what looked like two guns slotted to the sides of the cannon.“Guns? What?” Chung looked closer, taking one of the guns to his hands. Right in time as the specter stood up, charging against him once more. In a rush of panic, Chung held out the gun and fired. The specter dissipated.
It felt like using the Destroyer, just smaller and more…lighter. No… He took the other gun and slotted his cannon at his back. The guns fit perfectly in his hands, like it was made for him.He fired once more, testing various ways to how he could attack. It was perfect. The bullets were made of magic, just like with the Destroyer. It bounced off the wall and Chung thought how it could catch some of their more intelligent enemies off-guard. A smile tugged at her lips as he looked at the guns in his hands. Did the guardian stone modify his Destroyer?
He shook his head. No matter what it is, he still had to practice this. He took off his cannon. His cannon was lighter and, testing the cannonball shots, it had more ammo…
“No,” he muttered to himself. “There are more cannonballs and there are guns but overall, the impact is weaker. I can’t use my normal attacks like this.”
The cannon felt too…feeble in his hands. It felt like it could break if he slammed it on the ground too hard like he did before. He put it on his back once again and held the guns in his hands.
It wouldn’t hurt if he practiced a bit more…right?
-
Time passed and his Freiturnier shifted alongside the change in his weapons. It became smoother, as if accentuating the speed as to which he started to move in battle. It was more black than white now. He still had to mix up his own attacks but slowly, it started to lean to using his guns.
He still protected his friends, even if they were surprised by the change in his attack style in such a crucial time. Add and Eve, in particular, were interested in the guardian stone but even he couldn’t provide a clear answer. Rather than protect them in the frontlines of battle, he shifted back in the shadows, shooting the enemies with frightening accuracy that even he couldn’t explain whenever it got too close. In the end, it’s like nothing changed. Rather than him protecting his friends from every attack, well, rather than him taking the attack, it’s more of preventing the attack.
He looked at the chrysalis before him, its tentacles jabbing at the ground. His mind didn’t waver anymore at the thoughts of the past where he could take all the attacks of their enemies, no, all it focused on was knowing where to hit and when to hit it.
Chung wouldn’t have it any other way.
As another light blinded them after the Chrysalis’s defeat, he stood face to face with the specter that had changed everything. It seemed to smile at him.
“It seems you’ve already found your answer but that’s not enough. You must release your true potential!”
If he was any younger, he would’ve wondered what he’d think if he knew that he’d turn out like this but he wasn’t.
“You’re right.” His resolve shone through the guardian stone but Chung only had eyes in the specter before him. “I can’t stop here!”
Rather than use his destroyer, he used the Silver Shooters, as he had grown to call it, to show that he won’t let himself be beat here. The wind blew, making his and the specter’s hair flow in sync. A testament to their shared past.
“Go. You know what to do.” The specter continued before vanishing with the light.
Hey<3 If you don't mind.. could you write some Add (Dominator) x reader (fluff)? c:
“Dominator?” I poked my head through the doorway, holding the tray with one hand. There was a lump of blankets on the bed.
I pushed the door with my shoulder as quietly as I could and pushed down the glee in delivering a morning breakfast to bed. I set the tray down at a nearby table and shook the lump.
“Oh, Dominator~ Breakfast is ready.”
“Mm…” The blankets shifted but the figure inside didn’t leave its comfort. I shook it harder.
“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you slept for a few more hours, breakfast would turn into brunch, Dom, and you’ll have to eat a lot more.”
I heard more groaning before the figure promptly sat up, his bang covering his eyes and clothes messy. He ran a hand through his hair, letting me see that perfect view of his sleepy expression.
“Morning, [Y/N].” His words slurred a bit but still audible. I pulled the blanket off him and carried it with one hand, setting the tray on the other in front of him.
“I’ll be going to for a grocery shopping with [Twilight’s S/O].” I said while folding the blanket. “So, I’ll be out for the remainder of the day.”
I put the blanket down at the edge of his bed. “Just message me if you need something, oka-”
He pulled down on my hand, giving me a kiss. He looked at me like he always did, not as sleepy anymore and giving me a hard look. “You really shouldn’t hang out with her [S/O] so much. I could carry the bags more than he could.”
“Do that when you’ve learned to wake up early, Dominator.” I flashed him a smirk before walking out of the room. “See you later~”
rune master, immortal, and emperor training together using more mundane methods -- like nerf guns, so they dont forget their roots-- but they get really into it, scarily into it
Rune Master cocks the shotgun in his hands, eyes darting across the field. “I know you’re out there, Immortal. Emperor. Show yourself!”
A dark laugh starts to rise somewhere out in the field, and he peeks out of his cover only for a bullet to hit him in the forehead. He’s thrown back to the ground in his back, his vision blurring.“Is this… the end?” Rune Master whispers and a figure stands above him. Immortal aims the gun to his chest, point black and he smirks.“Goodbye, Rune Master.”Before pulls the trigger, a shower of bullets hit Immortal’s side and with a cry, the man flies over the crates. “Emperor…” Knight Emperor kneels before him, his hands still carrying his Prometheus. Rune Master musters a weak chuckle, reaching out a hand to his cheek. “We’re enemies, you know.”
Emperor bows his head, cradling Rune Master’s hand. “You didn’t have to die like this. You could have joined me…”
“You know that I couldn’t and I-”“Do you really think that you got rid of me that easily?!” Immortal’s voice boomed and Emperor throws himself to the side, dodging a bullet. Emperor lifts his gun once again but a bullet is aimed straight at the gun’s barrel, blocking his shots.
He couldn’t stop the shock freezing his movements and leading to his inevitable death. He raises his head just in time to see the bullet heading straight to his face and he wonders just how cruel Immortal could be.
Immortal stands before the two bodies, holding the two guns that caused the demise of the two. He barks a laugh as it turns into a giggle before erupting into full-blown laughter.
“Can’t you see?! I am the true Elsword. You two are only fakes created by this world.” His eyes glint in the shadows of his hair, a predatory smile on his lips.
He reloads his guns, “Now, it is time to destroy those other fakes.”
“Immortal~!” Immortal raised his head, the expression in his face from before wiped as he looks at Metamorphy.
“Oh, hey! What is it?”
“Daybreaker’s been calling us. It’s time to eat.”
“Really?” He whines.
“We’ve only been playing for a few hours…” Rune Master says, head tilted upwards to look at Metamorphy. Knight Emperor is already sitting up.
Metamorphy just smiled. “You can play later in the dark! It will be much more fun and we can have the whole gang to join!”
“Oh, that does sound like fun.” Rune Master pipes in, standing up in one jump and leaving the guns on the crates.
“And I just beat them, too.” Immortal grumbles. Metamorphy pats him on the shoulder.
“There, there, just beat them next time!”
“I won’t be caught off-guard again.” Knight Emperor sneaks a glance at Immortal. Immortal notices him and he grins. Knight Emperor sighed. “I don’t understand how you can have that aim.”
“When you control just as many swords as I do, you just do.”
Add(Diabolic Esper) loses himself to a deal he made with Glaive for the codes to time travel, he is now a slave to Henir. The El Search party faces him in Elrianode.
They never met him at all. Starting from Feita, Add was already enslaved by Glaive.
In Elrianode, the party was defending the El Tower against the interdimensional colossus. Dimension Witch slammed her staff down on the ground, twisting the space at the center of the colossus. It cried out, its parts falling down. She maintained a tight grip on her staff, brows furrowed in concentration when she feels a distortion in space.
“Get ready!” Veteran Commander shouted, the others backing down from the forming rip in space.
A man with silver hair left the rip in space, small machines circling around him. Dimension Witch’s eyes were on the man as his eyes were dyed black.
“Tch, that man better fulfill his deal.” The man grumbled, setting his eyes on the team. “Hey, you!”
Infinity Sword raised his gaze to meet the man. “What?” He said.
The man opened his mouth to say something but turned his head to the side at the last second, irritated. His eyes’ black color bleached back into white. “Nevermind.”
He opened a rip, about to leave when Dimension Witch felt the strangest sense that he should know the man. She didn’t make it known, waiting for the man to leave before turning to the others with a confused expression.
“Have we met him before…?”
“I don’t think so.” Infinity Sword sighed, sheathing his sword and looking at her. “Besides, we’d know if he was familiar.”
Dimension Witch looked back at where the man left. “Hmm, you’re right.”
Would it hurt if I ask for some fluff headcanons for Annuller and Mad Paradox? In both forms if possible.
Headcanons:
The only reason Annuller bakes cookies is that there are still someone who takes the cookies without prompting. That’s Mad Paradox.
Mad Paradox sometimes hum his Mom’s lullaby and Annuller finds himself managing to calm himself against the influx of Iblis’ thirst for destruction.
Mad Paradox’ younger form reminds Annuller of the times when Iblis was still so easy to please. Sometimes he trails behind him whenever Iblis doesn’t require his presence and remembers a time where his Lu was happy being with him. (not like when Iblis is ecstatic about the death of so many beings)
Whenever Mad Paradox switches to his true form, he steers clear of Annuller knowing that the other takes comfort in the appearance of his younger form.
Annuller’s transcendence form makes it so that he doesn’t register anything other than Iblis’ orders and his own destructive urges. Mad Paradox’ casting his Seal of Time puts him at ease during the battle, knowing he won’t die without warning.
Mad Paradox’ younger form makes Annuller at peace. Iblis’s imposing personality is a complete contrast to Mad Paradox’ nihilistic view.
Royal Guard x Grand Archer something like "Ciel had a rough time and goes back home to Rena"
“Lu isn’t asking for treats from me anymore.” Royal Guard said out of the blue one day. Grand Archer smiled, blinking from the sudden change of topic.
“Eh?” He turned towards her and leaned.
“Archer.” She blushed from the close proximity of his face. His eyes staring intensely at her own.
“Royal, Royal Guard-” She babbled.
Now, she swore that in less than a second he reverted back to burying his head in his hands. She didn’t expect this attitude from Royal Guard. He was loudly bemoaning Lu’s growing…skill in cooking.
“Lu is cooking!” Is he sulking that Lu’s finally being independent? “Cooking!”
She let out a small chuckle, leaning down on the fold of her knees. He coddled Lu too much that she started to learn.
“Isn’t that great then?” She beamed. “Lu’s finally learning on her own!”
“But.” He looked to the side. “If she did, I won’t be fulfilling my role.”
“You can’t honestly think that.” Grand Archer chided him. “Lu’s much more grown up, then we are. Did she choose you to be her cook?”
“No…” came a half-hearted reply from him. Grand Archer remained quiet as she watched Royal Guard look up from the ground to give her a pained expression. “But I’m only human and with Lu learning like that. She might think that... I’m useless.”
She stared at him and he watched befuddled as she held his hands. “When you live long enough,” she started speaking, “you start cherishing the present and Lu knows that.”
He looked to the side, trying to pull away his hands but she kept a tight grip. “I, still can’t help but think about it.”
“Do you think Lu would leave you alone?”
“No.”
“See.” She smiled wide before letting his hands go. Royal Guard doesn’t look at her.
“She should. If I become a burden to her, I shouldn’t stay.” She shook her head with his words.
“Didn’t you say you saved her? Lu won’t forget about that and everything you did for her.”
“But she saved me, too.” Royal Guard pressed his fist against her chest. “She gave me a reason to live when I had nothing to live for. She deserved more than... me.”
As he settled deep in his thoughts, Grand Archer’s eyes furrowed with worry. “Ciel, it goes both ways. You also gave her something to live for and not just revenge.”
Royal Guard didn’t speak anymore and instead, stood up and gave her a nod. “Thank you for listening.”
“Anytime, Ciel.” She smiled brightly as he left. Her expression fell as soon as he turned his back, seeming to remain strong yet looking so forlorn.
She sighed, clutching her hands that held his own. “When will you look my way?”
hey guys! how are the mods here? can i request for some "what would the elgang do in a swimming pool"? if you could can it please have all the classes 3rd job change? thank you and have a very nice day/night! good luck!
Elsword
Knight Emperor: He’d most probably be trying to learn how to swim. Apsara’s by his side of course.Rune Master: He is fascinated when the runes can heat up and freeze the water. Flame Lord’s with him for a while. Aether Sage is somehow “coerced” and now the pool’s turned into a wave pool.
Immortal: Contrary to popular belief, Immortal’s trying to relax. Metamorphy’s chattering beside him. It should have been annoying but Metamorphy’s presence is one of the few things that keeps him sane.
Aisha
Aether Sage: Just as said before, Aether’s playing with the wind to create a wave pool. Obviously, Centurion’s having the time of his life using a surfboard.
Oz Sorcerer: She’s chilling above the water with Angkor. She’d usually join but she’d rather laugh at them than get washed by the insane waves.
Metamorphy: She’s mostly by Immortal’s side however Metamorphy sometimes make friendly talk with Rage Hearts when stops by the juice bar.
Rena:
Daybreaker: She’s chilling by one of the chairs. Sipping calmly on a cocktail as she watches everything turn into a mess.
Anemos: She’s diving the pool. Don’t ask how deep the pool is. She’s touching the ground. And pulling anyone’s feet down.
Twilight: She’s the fastest swimmer, next to Comet Crusader and then its Anemos. Twilight has an impassive face most of the time but she twitches a smile whenever she wins a race. She also takes the time to pull Anemos’ feet down as revenge for the others.
Raven:
Furious Blade: He’s learning how to swim. Freyja’s helping him.
Rage Hearts: He’s at the sides playing ping pong with Tempest Buster. He can’t swim, why would he play in the pool? He does sometimes brew some mixtures in the bar but- Nevermind, Ferdinand became a butler.
Nova Imperator: He’s the unofficial lifeguard. Problem is. He can’t swim in the water unless he wants it to boil the instant he touches it. He’s responsible for throwing away the boiling water when Flame Lord gets too caught up. He’s one of the few to tolerate high temperatures.
Eve:
Code Esencia: Being a nasod queen means being able to stand against everything. That doesn’t include water. She’s at the pool side, splashing water with her feet. Don’t worry Oberon, Ophelia and Ferdinand is standing guard.
Code:Ultimate: She is having an engaging conversation with Sariel as they float on top of the water. The topic? How to extract information from intelligent demons effectively.
Code: Sariel: She answers Ultimate’s questions while she watches the others. Team bonding activities are useful when it comes to providing information outside the battlefield.
Chung:
Comet Crusader: He’s duking it out with Twilight in a race.
Fatal Phantom: If there’s a pool, there’s a slide. Guess who’s at the slide.
Centurion: Out playing with the waves. He’s a child I tell you.
Ara:
Apsara: Apsara’s quite alright with just chilling but with everyone whizzing about. She’s dragged by the flow. By the end of the day, she’s exhausted from both drinking too much or from fatigue.
Devi: Devi’s competing with Iblis with the highest diving board.
Shakti: Shakti’s helping out Nova. And by helping, she meant skirting in the air pulling up anyone who’s drowning like an elegant seagull.
Elesis:
Empire Sword: It’s far too messy in the 5 ft pool. She’s with Flame Lord in the home made hot tub.
Flame Lord: She’s fire, but that doesn’t mean she can’t swim. After Rune Master gets the hang of using his runes to affect the water to either boiling or freezing, she further proves her mastery over her flames by making a separate pool a hot tub.
Bloody Queen: She’s swimming with the others. By others, I meant Mad Paradox. His presence helps in turning the red water clear again.
Add:
Dominator: Apo-chan’s floating in the waterr. Him? He made himself a chair for him to float mindlessly. He made points to stay away from the unruly ones.
Doom Bringer: He’s in the hot tub chilling.
Mad Paradox: He’s in the 2ft pool. With Queen.
LuCiel:
Timoria: She has one of those floaties at the shoulder. Water is fascinating to her.
Abysser: Abysser’s playing with Timoria. He doesn’t put it past her to be able to drown even with those on.
Ishtar: At times, I wonder if she is truly my counterpart. She makes a point to relax. She doesn’t need to play.
Chevalier: He’s looking out for Ishtar who’s really disdaining Iblis’ actions.
Anular: He’s looking blankly at the others playing. Did you really expect him to play in a pool?
Iblis: If someone’s going to fight her, it’s going to be Devi.
Rose:
Tempest Buster: Who’s the one trying to enjoy everything the pool has to offer? Aside from Centurion, this one right here. To the pool, to the slides, to the diving board, to the light poles- Woops, Minerva caught her.
Black Massacre: She’s not keen on enjoying herself when she should be out there with the princess but- There is nothing she can do but sit still. She’s at the pool with Bloody Queen. The blood quenches her bloodthirst somewhat.
Minerva: Did I say that she’s only one of the lifeguards there? I mean she has great mobility and her… summons make great security guards.
Prime Operator: Helping Bluhen swim while the others play around.
Ain:
Richter: Overlooking the pool from above, I mean, he is a god now
Bluhen: He’s trying to learn how to swim. It is quite an experience he might say. Prime Operator’s helping him.
Herrscher: Mulling over the meaningless of everything at the bottom of the deepest pool.
