hi everyone! we've been made aware that some members are receiving unsavory/rude/hateful anons.
we ask that if you do receive an anon like this to please not post and to delete them immediately. we believe that engaging with these anons in any way or referencing them in other posts, ic or ooc, will encourage the anon to continue sending them for further reaction.
we understand the impact that receiving anons like this can have on writers mentally, and want to help as best as possible to eradicate this behavior. if you are receiving anons of this nature, or have in the past, please come to the mods so we are aware and can do whatever is needed on our end to try and handle this issue. screenshots of said anons would also be great.
if we find that members continue receiving anons like this over the coming days, we'll be asking all members to turn the anon feature off indefinitely. if we find a current member of satori has been sending nasty anons of any type, that writer and their muses will be removed with immediate effect and banned from the group with no exceptions.
if you have an issue with another writer or muse, please block/soft block rather than engaging in behavior like this. we are all adults in this group, and want to maintain a mature, respectful space for all members. thanks for reading all!
hi everyone. we know there have been a lot of mod notes lately, but please find some housekeeping below!
we have recently made some updates to the rules. we ask you read them full, and comment with an emoji once finished. if you have any questions on the updated rules, let us know!
due to a number of hostile anon messages received by the mod blog, we will be keeping anon off for an unspecified period. it's unfortunate it has come to this, but the content and tone of those messages has taken a toll on both mods. please remember we do deserve respect, not even as mods but as people. we will post when we have turned anon back on.
for any reserves, if you don't wish to have a blog attached on main to your reserve but want to gauge interest or plots, please message us on tumblr im and we will make a post on the mod blog on your behalf.
we wanted to give a gentle reminder to people to check their spam and invites folders, particularly after liking a post to talk on the dash. we've had some concerns raised that messages are being lost, so please be sure to double check! we're also aware of some ongoing issues with chats; if you are having any issues and need to change accounts, please let us know.
lastly, we want to take a moment to say thank you for the kind messages we've received from members over the weekend. they truly meant a lot to us. we work hard to maintain this space and try to keep things as fair as we can for everyone, and knowing that hasn't gone unseen really does mean a great deal. thank you all for being here and sticking with us 🤍

first of all, thank you for sticking with me over the past month or so. truly, there's no other group i would've rather modded solo - you all made the experience so special, and i appreciate your patience and kindness more than i can put into words.
that being said, i know my current work schedule doesn't always allow me to be as present as i'd like to be. because of that, i wanted to make sure satori continues to get the time and care it deserves - so i'm very happy to share that we are officially a duo mod team again! please give the warmest welcome to mod mira, who will be joining me on the mod side of things! i'm so excited for you all to get to know them!
also, a little shoutout to our gossip mods, eclair and cannoli, for always keeping things moving over there and bringing so much fun into the space. we see and appreciate you both lots!
we've also been doing a little refreshing behind the scenes the past few days! all satori related blogs have officially received updated themes and graphics. if you have access to a desktop, definitely take a peek - everything looks so pretty and polished, we're really proud of it!
along with that, there have been some fun new developments on satori tv. we've added several new pages, including a full birthday calendar, base listings, and character professions to help keep everything organized and easy to browse. there are also two new forms available: one for submitting events you'd like to see promoted on satori tv, and another for plot calls if you're searching for specific connections or storylines. lots of good things, and even more to come as we continue working on new events and games together! with the updated layout and slight storyline adjustments, expanding satori tv will be much smoother moving forward. as always, we're still very open to suggestions - if you have ideas or feedback, we would genuinely love to hear them!
just a few quick housekeeping notes:
we've gone through and lightly rewritten some of the rules. nothing major has changed, but we'd really appreciate it if everyone could give them a quick read as a refresher. we also ask that you make sure our character pages are up to date - especially things like tour schedules, connections, faceclaims, and the masterlist. keeping these current helps us make sure everyone's information is accurate and easy to find!
and if you've been meaning to submit a character sheet or sideblog but haven't gotten around to it yet… consider this your gentle nudge to get started!
one more important note: moving forward, we've decided to take mondays off for the foreseeable future so we can rest and focus on responsibilities outside of roleplay. tomorrow will be an exception since this note is going up a bit late, but this change will officially go into effect on april 20th!

as we start a new year, we have some exciting news to share that we've been working on behind the scenes - please see below the cut!
we're aware our supplementary blog, satoritv, has been quiet while we navigated the transition with the mod team. as we've now adjusted to being a two person mod team, we're excited to bring some ideas to you all for how satori's additional blogs will run going forward - particularly in terms of interactive content and a gossip blog.
satoritv was created with character development, community and interaction in mind - we do not plan to change this. it will remain a hub for ask games, regular events (with some exciting ideas in the pipeline), moodboards etc. we'll also start featuring character interviews with the two new hosts of satori tv, and it will remain gossip free.
we are, however, introducing a new element to our space! we will be launching a new gossip blog, focusing on confessions, gossip drops, and more. we're introducing this gossip blog as we've received expressions of interest for a gossip-led space in addition to satoritv, and we're happy to take that member feedback on board!
as we know some of our members aren't fans of gossip blogs, we wanted to keep both of these blogs separate to help maintain separate spaces for those who wish to have them. following of the gossip blog will not be mandatory, and participation will be entirely optional.
if you have submitted a sideblog and do not wish to participate in the gossip blog, we ask that you make a note on your sideblog in your bio or message the main mod blog to let us know. if you want to participate but there are particular posts you don't wish to be used, please tag those accordingly and this will be respected. alternatively, if you haven't submitted a sideblog to us and wish to take part, let us know and we'll update lists accordingly!
with the pending launch of our gossip blog, we are also now accepting applications of interest for an additional gossip-only mod. if you are interested, please message us your app (questions below) on tumblr im only by 6pm est, january 2 and we'll discuss!
