i’ve never really understood people who say things to the effect of celica being a bad choice as the fe:gaiden/sov representative in engage, or that alm would have been a better choice.

i havent had a chance to play gaiden myself yet, but i personally always found the story of celica’s route in sov to be more interesting than alm’s, and liked the units she had access to more, and generally find her to be a much more interesting character, esp since i feel like alm has just a bit too much overlap with every other fe lead with the ties to royalty type.

even without my sov opinions, what would alm even uniquely add as an emblem over celica? celica is one of two base game emblems with tome engage weapons as well as the recover staff as a really useful engage healing option, and warp ragnarock has serious use. i don’t think it would make anything better to swap her out for alm, who’s just another sword-based lord type. i feel like even before getting to opinions on character, celica adds more variety to the available emblem options with her being magic-focused.

besides, with how sov treated it’s female cast, i think it’s only fair that celica gets to be the emblem with gameplay utility and dialogue/support lines. consider it reparations. she deserves to be her games’ emblem representative.

this is only slightly related but i hate when people say they should have shared celica's ring bc 1) what purpose would that serve in gameplay? and 2) they spend 98% of their game away from each other. they arent animals with separation anxiety like celica is fine on her own...

I think we should kidnap Hidari and make them(?) illustrate another fire emblem game their art is gorgeous

wrong IS should actually lock Mika Pikazo in their basement and have her illustrate the next 7 fe games to weed out the weak

I just want a cleric who realizes they carry around a metal stick and makes the connection that kneecaps are very fragile. Make it a personal skill or something just let me have a character who can use the durability of a staff to use it as a like 4 might physical weapon.

What I think would fix the Fates royals

Sakura - Stim toy collection (love love LOVES squishy toys)

Takumi - Xanax prescription (or Vraylar...love my BPD princess 💕)

Hinoka - Blue raspberry Svedka vodka (strikes me as a STRICTLY clear liquor type of girl)

Ryoma - Gas station poppers (would make him worse probably)

Elise - Roblox dress up games (w/ Xander buying her all the Robux she wants)

Leo - Those crazy gas station edibles (he's becomes the most normal person ever or will become irreparably worse)

Camilla - Vapes with flavors of the most odd and eclectic variety (everyone has to waits for her until she finds her cotton candy vape)

Xander - Horse tranquilizer (the ONLY thing that could calm this bitch down) Corrin - 12 uninterrupted hours of dancing fruits sensory videos (Smooth brain moment)

Azura doesn't need fixing because terrorising her siblings is funny to her and fills her with joy. and also watching the light leave her enemies' eyes as they die thats very satisfying for her
