After Samuel and Chase's little storyline fragment, main story focus will temporarily shift to Benny, Charlotte, and Clyde btw! I'd never forget them! Think of it like swapping between the two stories until they inevitably collide

I'm gonna hit them with the trauma ray so hard that their character development contrasts the person they're close to

That way Chase moves on from the loss of his father (as opposed to Samuel continuously grieving over Hailey) and Charlotte gives up on her purpose (as opposed to Benny finding his purpose but hey they both die so there's that)
